We were advised that the appointment would take approximately three hours; however, we were at the office for approximately 6.5 hours. The majority of this time was spent waiting for staff or the physician. I was not examined until roughly 5.5 hours after arrival, well after normal office hours. During this time, we had to leave the exam room and walk the hallways to locate staff or remind someone that I was still waiting to be seen. At that point, the office was largely empty, although the physician could be heard speaking in another closed office. When we knocked, we were told she would be out shortly. The after-visit report was extremely inaccurate and did not reflect what was discussed during the appointment. It appeared to be influenced by assumptions drawn from a prior visit with a different UPMC provider more than six months earlier. That information is outdated and does not reflect my current medical or mental health status, particularly since I have changed physicians and my more recent records are not available in the UPMC portal. There has been no follow-up communication. Calls and messages have gone unanswered, and there was no meaningful assistance with completion of required Federal Disability documentation. Despite confirmation from other treating physicians and my Federal Disability attorney that I am medically and legally eligible under Federal Disability criteria, the physician stated she did not believe my diagnoses necessarily qualified for disability. I attempted to clarify that Federal Disability and Social Security Disability are distinct programs with different eligibility standards and offered to have my attorney provide further clarification; however, no response or engagement followed. Overall, the experience was dismissive and unhelpful, both from the physician and staff. Given the lack of follow-up, inaccuracies in documentation, and failure to assist with ongoing care needs, I will be requesting that my referring physician transfer my care to another provider for continued treatment.

My appointment with Dr. BONHOMME was November 17, 2025 at 1:00 in the afternoon.. At the completion of my testing, Dr. Bonhomme left the exam room stating she would return shortly with final instructions. I waited in the room for over 1/2 hour, at this time it was past 4:30pm and when i stepped out to see if i could talk to someone the place was DESERTED. Lije the entire staff left for the day. I could hear a voice behind one of the closed doors and I called out and got no resposne. Finally 10 minutes later Dr.returned telling me to follow up in 6 months. She followed us out as it appears she was also leaving. I believe that i was forgotten. Office staff shpukd not be vacating an office while there are patients still in exam rooms. Also, there is bo record of my appointment or outcome in my chart. This referral was for a medication adverse effect and i need the report for my specialist. I am extremely unhappy with the care tfat was given.

Talks over and around you in office. Doesn't answer your questions, messages or phone calls. We have been waiting 13 days for a question to be answered. The office that referred us can't even get answers out of them. I wish I could give less than 1 star. Might as well not even go to your appt if your sent here!

I started calling on December 3, 2021 to try to make an appointment for my husband who has a sixth nerve palsy in his eye. It has now been over a week and no one has called me back I have left message after message I talk to a triage nurse I talk to another guy named Joshua and no one has called me back to make an appointment. This is terrible now a whole week we have wasted just trying to make an appointment. My husband has double vision and needs to be seen but there is no one to help us. I really think PA Department of Health needs to be contacted and JACHO. This is a serious problem and it needs to be rectified.

I have called 6 times in the last 1.5 months to try and get an appointment for my father in law. All medical details provided and still waiting for scheduling to call back- my request has even been escalated to the office 3 times for a call back. I would never recommend using this facility especially if you have an urgent vision need if this is how getting a simple call back to schedule a visit is handled.

I've been trying to get in touch with an actual person in order to make an appointment with Dr. Bonhomme. I keep getting a recorded message that asks me to leave my name, birth date and diagnosis. I keep doing that but every time I get a call back, I am with a client. I need a direct line to a receptionist who will answer the phone so that I can make my appointment. We have been playing phone tag for two weeks and I'm becoming frustrated and worried about my condition and would simply like the number to call to reach a person so that I can make my appointment. Thank you for your time.

Just spent 4 hours with Dr Bonhomme being incredably thorough regarding my husband's vision issues. We have never had a doctor spend this much time with us, be this thorough, and ensure we understood all od the facts and our choices. We wish all doctors were like her.

Update this so called doctor had me going blind as she thought she knows all....notesin my file mysteriously went missing...im telling you dont go to her shes rude pompous smug and doesn't listen. To her patients......This doctor had an attitude problem from the Get go...they took it upon themselves to schedule an appointment for me without my knowledge ( initial app) 4 to 6 hours on length..i told them I couldn't make it and rescheduled she accused me of not cancelling was mad I couldn't make initial..i have 3 kids and alot of health concerns being addressed.. she contradicted herself numerous time on findings prescription changes for my eyes etc..i refuse to go back just because a Dr " specializes" in something don't make them good...lets just say other doctors offices couldn't believe some things
