This Doctor and her Staff were wonderful. I was having a medical emergency and she was able to see me to determine what was wrong with my eye. I found her to be very knowledgeable and thorough and so appreciate her taking the time to see me. The Staff at Everett were wonderful as well. Always helpful and always there for you.

The appointment went well. Waiting times were minimal. Technicians were professional. Doctor not rushed. The only thing I didn't appreciate and it had nothing to do with the Doctor or staff was the charge that I would have to pay if I would have if I took the eye drops that reversed the mydriatic that dilated the pupils. I was told it was cosmetic and elective. I had to drive myself home. Thank goodness I had sunglasses as those pupil constricting drop, in the past, were not given for whatever reason. $25 for 2 drops of a metic is rediculous

I have been a patient of Dr. Rath for 18 years, when I was first diagnosed with ocular melanoma. That I'm still her patient (for annual checks), and I still have some useful vision in my impacted eye, speaks for itself. Thank you Dr. Rath and also your trusty, wise nurse, Jess! I like your new Pittsburgh space on Technology Dr. though it was still experiencing nearby construction during my visit. The building is not so far from a PRT bus stop on 2nd Ave, maybe a 1/4 mile walk. But there are no sidewalks past the Hitachi parking lot. I was dismayed that such a new development in central Pittsburgh lacks sidewalks, especially considering that people with low vision may take the bus to and from appointments. Also, (and this is very picky) given that your office is on the 2nd floor, it would be nice to have the option of going up and down by stairs. Even going down is labeled for emergency only. I did not try it for fear of setting off an alarm.
