Such a pleasant experience, easy to schedule a routine checkup as a new patient, easy to park, kind staff, knowledgable doctor who was efficient with my time but didn't sacrifice being thorough. I last minute needed to bring my baby and everyone was INCREDIBLY chill about it - I was so worried and deeply appreciated the complete lack of fuss. Looking (ha) forward to returning next year!

I began going to this practice because I was assured that a complete exam would be done. I'd been in other places that planned to measure my vision to prescribe glasses only. I do need that, but i know that there are many serious issues that can be discovered when your pupils are dilated and a complete exam is done, so I will not accept the basic exam for glasses. This may be more important as a person ages, I'm not sure, but I have family members with serious problems that I hope to avoid (or minimize, if they do become a concern.) I've been very pleased with the professionalism and care that I've received here.

Dr. Telega and her incredible office crew are truly second to none in every possible way. Not only will you receive a perfectionistic level of attention and care at this clinic, but you will also feel like family for as long as you're able to utilize their services. Despite me being a chronically difficult patient due to my keratoconus diagnosis, this lovely team refused to continue meeting my needs until everything was perfect with my eyes over the course of the 2 years I got to spend with them. If you're looking for an optometrist in the Pittsburgh area, I highly recommend taking time to schedule with SEA.

I've been struggling with severe dry eye syndrome for nearly two years. Dr. Telega was the first to thoroughly explain my condition and create a comprehensive treatment plan that has finally brought me relief. Her passion for her work and extensive knowledge of the latest dry eye research are clearly evident. In just two months, my eyes feel better than they have in 2 years. Awesome optometrist and business. This is one of those places I've been going to for years and realized I owe them a review already. Dr. Telega is great, she is master of both professional practice and the ability to explain things to a patient. I learn something new every year about how to take care of my eyes and prevent my vision from degrading. As someone who works in tech and is obliged to stare at a screen all day, I can't overstate how much I appreciate that. Dr. Telega also has high empathy for those of us who get squeamish with certain procedures like glaucoma tests, dilation, and anything where equipment has to get close to the eye. This is the most at ease I've ever been in the exam room because she knows exactly how to talk you through it so you're not caught off guard. Other bonuses: staff at this business have never ever tried to push a product, I have never been given attitude for requesting a copy of my prescription (in fact it's just automatically given to me), staff is both very nice and competent, and also... it always smells amazing in there? Thank you guys for being amazing!

Dr. Telega is the best. She is competent and wonderful and I've been going to her for 5 years. The things I don't like about the practice are the hours of operation is too limited, and my god are the glasses terrible and overpriced. It didn't used to be this way. The quality and quantity of the frames has really dipped this past year. I liked being able to use it as a one stop shop but now I have to take the prescriptions elsewhere and order glasses.

Highly recommend if you are looking for a doctor specializing in dry eye! I stumbled upon this practice in an attempt to find a dry eye specialist performing IPL nearby. Dr. Telega has helped me so much in understanding and managing my dry eye symptoms. Most people just don't understand how frustrating and painful this condition can be, how much it affects your life, and she has actual empathy and real life advice to give. She's helped me through a full round of IPL treatments and will continue to help me manage. I'm glad I found her!
