Went for a 1pm appointment and we are still waiting at 1:45. 4 or 5 people working but the optometrist is remote. Meaning its all video, which is fine....but seriously. Eye test was done within the first 5 mins of being here, but ae now have to wait for the dr to call in. There was only 1 other customer in the building with us and they were waiting just as long before getting the phone call from the Dr. I just would like to see a better operation of business here. Even my 9 yr old asked "what do they all do just sit and talk"? I had to explain they could be doing stuff. Floors needed sweeping and bathrooms were dirty. I would recommend they do pagers like the restaurants do.....they make you wait long enough to get your shopping at Walmart done next door before you get to talk to the Dr.
Update....after an hr of waiting and no body checking on us I finally went to the front and asked how much longer. The response was, its a remote visit, when the calls thats when we get seen. Some advise, when you ask someone if a mutual visit ok, maybe mention it can be a long wait. Don't make it out like its the same experience. We will see how the return visit goes when the dr is actually on site. I will give them one more shot to make it a better experience.

amazing staff! they were so helpful and kind, even helped me pick out glasses since my favorite pair was out of stock :( so glad the girls there were able to make my day brighter, especially the lady who gave me a cow duck for my subaru! (moo moo subaru) 1000/10 recommend they made me feel like i was appreciated and understood
I commend the staff on their professionalism and grace while handling an unruly parent today 1/24/26, and I say parent due to the fact that the person was not even the patient in question. From the associates to the general manager, this office is managed and maintained at a very high standard. I am not from the area, however I was treated with the utmost personality and kindness as if I was a regular patient. The exam process is very quick and streamline, with very open communication regarding pricing and add-ons. Great visit, great office, even greater staff! And if the gentleman that I am referring to in this review is reading this, kick rocks dude.
I had an outstanding experience at America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses in Richland Crossings, Quakertown. From the moment I walked in, the team made me feel welcomed and truly cared for. The selection of eyewear was excellent, and the eye exam was thorough and professional.
What really stood out was the service from the manager, Paige -- she was absolutely amazing. Paige went above and beyond to make sure I understood all my options, answered every question with patience and expertise, and made the whole process smooth and enjoyable. Her attention to detail and genuine care for customers made all the difference. I left with glasses that fit great and felt confident about my choices.
I highly recommend this location to anyone looking for quality eye care and excellent customer service.
First off, why does this place say "America's Best" when my glasses from this place had to come from Mexico. Last month, I ordered 2 glasses. I had to wait longer because the glasses were coming from another country and had to go through customs. Nothing against Mexico. But why is this place called America's Best? It makes no sense. That was disappointing because of the extra wait time.
The customer service was great, btw.
Hello,
I am an 81 year old with severe hearing lose. On December 19th I visited your store in Quakertown, PA. I explained to the young lady at the front desk of my hearing problem and she assured me that it would not be an issue. The young lady that did the initial part of the exam was very accommodating. However, when was call by Dr. M. Patel my pleasant experience turned into a rude and abrupt encounter. I was told by the doctor that he was not able to do an eye exam and that I should go back to the front desk and reschedule my appointment when I got some hearing aids and to leave the door open on my way out.
After checking the reviews on the stores webpage it seem Dr M. Patel rudeness is a daily occurrence.
I left America's Best feeling as though I had been slip in the face. Needless to say I will not be returning to America's Best nor would I ever recommend them to anyone else.
If I could give this a negative star I would. The optometrist from the Quakertown location belittled my wife and made her cry. She has had glasses since she was 8 years old and now in her 40s. The I examiner repeatedly got loud with my wife yelling..I dont care about what works for you." My wife was trying to explain how her eyes work and the glasses he was trying to make her get give her migraines, make her eyes struggle to see, and also throw up. My wife's eyes are very sensitive. He wouldn't listen to her or even let her explain herself. My wife has never walked out on an eye exam so upset and crying. The front desk lady's are very nice and more than willing to help and work with you. I feel bad they have to lose businesses due to the lack of professionalism of the optometrist that just wants to sell glasses rather than help his patients. We will no longer be going to any of these locations.
Highly recommend Dr. Patel he is very thorough and helped me resolve an issue with my prescription. Rachel was also very helpful and pleasant dealing with my concerns.
