Historically, my experiences with Visionworks (Boston MA, Philadelphia PA and Wyomissing PA locations) have been very good. The staff is normally pleasant, and the optometrists are knowledgeable about their craft. Today, it was a totally different experience. The young lady working at the front desk appeared nice at first, but became increasingly impatient when I asked her to check my medical records to compare the Rx from 2021 and 2024. My recent glasses have the leading increased headaches and I wanted to know what was a significant difference between the Rx from 2021 and 2024. If so, I could discuss this information with the optometrist. Unfortunately, the young lady told me that the 2021 info was no longer available as they have changed systems and some charts no longer have access to the prior medical records!!! I explained to her that it is federal law that they keep this medical information, or they risk up to $10,000 per chart. After further discussion, she was able to find the Rx info documented on an old sales receipt but declined to give me this information for comparison. I requested to speak with the optometrist, to which she initially agreed and then told me he was unable. Another employee chimed in that "we're booked for the day but you can make an appointment for another day." She offered me the ability to request my medical records for which I accepted and waited for the young lady to complete my medical records request. Instead, she continued to help other customers or type into the computer. Eventually, the optometrist then came out to speak with me, was very polite, and informed the young lady to provide me with this information. The entire experience felt like unnecessary "power trip" from the young lady. Unfortunately, my family and I will no longer be using the Wyomissing PA Visionworks location and possibly switching entirely to a different establishment.

I can't say enough good things. This was my first visit and, I will definitely be back. It was the quickest, most efficient eye exam I've ever had. Everyone was great, start to finish. Scheduling online was easy, filling out the forms ahead of time streamlined the check in process, and I was in and out in 30 minutes. My contacts are being mailed directly to me, I had my script in hand when I left AND they scheduled my next annual appointment automatically.

So I waited until I got my new glasses to write this review. Both pairs came in a day early. The Dr did a good exam he went slow enough to make sure they got it right nothing about my experience felt rushed all employees I interacted with were helpful and friendly I also love my new glasses. I will definitely be back.

The staff was incredibly kind and helpful while I was choosing my new glasses. The doctor who performed my exam was thorough, informative, and genuinely caring. I was in and out in under an hour--couldn't have asked for a better experience.

It would be great to speak with a live person...idk why they don't answer the phone? It's time to move to a different vision provider that values their customers. I've been hearing great things about Costco's vision center and I already know that they have great customer service that actually answers the phone! Less than a 24 hour response from corporate imagine if they only answered their phones that fast! 0 if I could possibly give that.

This Visionworks location is amazing! Everyone was so helpful from the check in, to the woman that did the tests before the doctor. The doctor was kind and informative. The women who helped me pick out glasses were wonderful. They all have their opinions and made sure I picked the best ones! Everyone at this location was so kind and I will be back!

Courteous and efficient staff. Great specials and pricing. Their return/exchange policy is great. Never a hassle when you want to exchange a frame for any reason. Would recommend Visionworks to everyone.

The entire Visionworks staff was personable and professional. From the woman who helped me select new glass frames to the woman who did the initial testing up to the doctor who completed the exam. I never felt rushed. Everyone took time to answer all my questions.
