I was greeted by a very upset customer who warned me of what I might experience if I chose to stay and get my eyes tested at Optical & Hearing Center. I should have listened. The doctor who did the eye test was nice, very conversational. At the end of the test he asked about glasses I pulled out to read something on my phone. I told him that they are readers. He asked for the specs - the ones I had on were 1.5. Today (02/27/2026) my husband went to pick up my glasses and brought them home. I tried them on but they were a bit oversized. I took them right back and there is where things went downhill. I wore them to drive with and it was very uncomfortable. I walked in and gave the time of day to a lady who was at the counter who did not look up or acknowledged by presence. Another attendant came from the back to inquire what I needed. I explained that the glasses were big and that they were difficult to drive with. She told me that I should not drive with them because they are READERS! I almost had a meltdown but kept my composure - the attendant was rude and spoke over me. She offered to get them resized. They have translucent lenses and cost $460! I was like WHY would I pay all that money and get an eye test for READERS? That was not what I wanted and I told them that I don't want the glasses. The attendant told me that I am stuck with the overpriced readers. I feel I got slammed. I was measured for the glasses yet I got oversized readers. I find their business practice to be very shady and disrespectful of customers. The glasses are nice but they are not what I went there for. I would never spend $460 on readers that I can pick up at the Dollar store!

I had a very unprofessional experience at this office. I went to pick up my contact lenses for the first time ordering through them. Since it was new to me, I wasn't sure what to expect. When I saw it was just a small single box, I asked about it because I thought I had purchased a 6-month supply. One staff member was helpful, but another became visibly angry over my simple question. The situation escalated so much that the helpful staff actually had to push her into the back room as if she was about to physically lash out, which was completely unacceptable and unsettling. All I wanted was a cost breakdown, something I have easily received in the past when ordering glasses. Instead, I was made to feel embarrassed and like I couldn't ask reasonable questions about what I was paying for. There is no excuse for that kind of behavior in a professional office, especially toward a customer who was simply trying to understand their purchase.

I shook my head after reading these reviews, same experience--multiple times over! So disrespectful rude and unprofessional are their staff. Do better. Most recent experience was taking in a contact lens prescription from another state I was traveling and working in that was completely valid, not expired and having these clowns tell me no I can't get contacts from them, I need to bill my insurance for a new exam. Again other exam valid for a year. I guess I'm better off at Walmart. Your staff is egregiously provoking and absolutely RUDE. Just read your reviews. Calling them is like..how can we unhelp you while you can't see anything?

I had a 0530 appointment which was made a year ago. I arrive for my appointment at 533 to be told by the receptionist we don't take 530 appointments for medical visits your appointment was 5 and I have to reschedule you and all the equipment is shut down after coming from the west end. I then said I want to speak to the Dr. I then proceeded to wait another 30 minutes because she had to power up all the equipment again when finally the receptionist brought me into the room for my first test after 6. I had to put on an eye patch with a tissue in it. Uncomfortable she then stated I would help you but you might yell at me. I then said to her to get away from me I would like the Dr to help me. The Dr came and proceeded to do the tests for me that were needed.If the dr wasn't a good eyed I would never ever go back there again. So after the dr was done walked me out. You know at no time did she even apologize or even try to help just wanted to be rude. Didn't care that I was a patient or a person she didn't do it that's all she was worried about attached is the appointment card that was given to me a year ago. I hope some body else doesn't have to be treated like this.

They are always nice, and I have never had any problems with them. Been going there for years.

Dr. Trezza is truly of the best eye doctors I've had. Always professional and friendly at every eye appointment and truly makes sure to answer any concerns or questions there are.

I have been going to this office for over eight years. This office is great. The office is clean. Employees are always nice and helpful with smiling faces. The doctor is amazing. He's also really good with children as my son goes here as well. Claudia does a great job getting me scheduled when I need to come even when I call in for last minute appointments or need to reschedule. She never gives me any issues and is always super kind and helpful. I would say the same about the rest of the staff, keep up the good work ladies and gentlemen I definitely recommend needing to see an optometrist or get some new glasses!

I had a great experience here. The staff was incredibly professional and welcoming. The optometrist took the time to explain everything during the eye exam, and I felt well taken care of. The selection of glasses was great, with stylish options at different price points. I also visited their hearing department and was equally impressed. The hearing specialist was knowledgeable and patient, answering all my questions thoroughly. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for quality optical and hearing care!
