Dr Rivera's office staff cannot be bothered with the courtesy of returning multiple calls requesting an evaluation appointment. When they finally did respond on 12/30 after 2 weeks it was to inform me they had the referral but they were on holiday and instructed me to call the following monday, which I did, leaving a messages again ignored.
I ended up calling Yale, spoke with their office, and in 48 hours had scheduled my evaluation with them. That is how professionals do their jobs, and professional is not a label anyone would assign to Rivera's office.

I absolutely adore Dr. Rivera and his entire staff! A Very professional and intelligent team. I wouldn't trust my eyes to just anyone. Dr. Rivera is a brilliant surgeon and removed cataracts from both eyes. My world is much clearer now. The staff makes everyone very comfortable and there's always lots of laughter! I wish I was employed there!

I have been a customer of Dr. Rivera for 5+ years and I love going to his office. Weather it be for a check up, obtaining new glasses and contact lenses or even picking out the right frames, Dr. Rivera and his associates have helped us in every way.

Could not get anyone to return a call to schedule a new patient visit. After a week i left another message. It has now been over another week and no return call. I also agree leaving all the info they request on an answering machine is ridiculous.

I read all reviews before making the call. Even read the review about how they require all info before making a appointment which i couldnt believe. I made the call myself to schedule a appointment at 9:32 am. They require all personal info except your social security number. Who in their right mind would give a answering machine all that info lol smh. Beware. Will not be giving this Business my business.

I TRIED to make a first time appointment. I got a MACHINE requesting I list all of my insurances, with the account numbers, my name, number, etc...that the office would "call me back???" Let's put it this way, I will not be going to that office. What, no receptionist???
