Eye Care One

Best experience ever!! This will always be my #1 recommendation to anyone who needs eye care, glasses, contacts or exams! Lilly, Gabrielle, and Dr. Schwan are amazing, friendly, and extremely helpful! Every other eye care place ive gone i usually feel rushed out with un answered questions. The doctor sat with me and thoroughly explained issues, solutions and what to expect inbetween. And when I went to check out, the staff took their time to help me with any last minute questions and helped me with experimenting with new contacts. They all deserve a praise and a raise and it needs to be known they dont just do eye exams, they actually care about their clients which means a lot. Ten stars for all the staff here!

the manager (AJ) is super unprofessional. super rude and just down right a horrendous person. talks bad about customers and employees behind their back. continuously lies and makes up stories to make him seem good in others eyes. absolutely disgusted by this person

I saw the Doctor promptly. She explained all tests and procedures. I was impressed with her expertise and I appreciate the time and effort she took to answer all my questions! The staff was equally impressive. The professionalism that this facility exhibited should easily be the standard in optical care. I highly recommend them and my family will be scheduling a visit soon.

I HIGHLY recommend this place!!! My previous eye doctor had given me the wrong eye prescription. It was a giant headache over the past year. Fastfoward, got new insurance and tried this place. They were patient and understanding. They also helped my husband who is a Firefighter pick glasses that would be more durable in his line of work. Overall, everyone seemed kind and helpful!!!

I have been a patient at Eye Care One since 2020 and always call in August for my appointment in October. I received a text reminding me a week before and then another a day before. When I walked in the door I was given a sheet to sign that said I could receive my prescription from the doctor by email. Then I looked for a frame and luckily found a petite size that I liked. I was soon called back to the exam room and noticed there were no familiar faces and I asked if there was a new doctor and was told yes. Things seemed a bit different and I asked about the eye dilating drops and was told they use this new machine instead. I then went in to see the doctor and had a number of familiar tests and then she reviewed the photo from the new machine. Once I was done she took me out to the front desk where I could order my glasses. I remember the girl quickly adding up figures and when I asked she mentioned something about $45 not being covered by insurance but didn't know what it was until I received my EOB from insurance and didn't see it filed. I also noticed that the amount I paid by credit card was $35 more than what insurance said I would owe and I thought that was weird. So then I called the eye care office and she said she would send me my invoice to review. I also asked if I would be reimbursed the difference of the overpayment and she said no. I then compared the EOB and the invoice and wondered why the $45 was not filed. I called the office back again. I was told the new doctor requires a photo with the new machine even though I was not told about it prior, nor was I told it would be another $45 out of pocket. I was not told that it wasn't optional. I think this was rather DECEITFUL and I believe they should have you sign a document when you arrive to acknowledge this change or even inform you by phone of the new procedure BEFORE you have the exam. At this point all they offered me was a $6 credit on my appointment next year. I am not a happy camper!!! I will say I do like the new doctor, but not the new procedure that is not optional. A lot of good the $6 credit will do me if I don't return next year. I really miss the old Eye Care One.

I never really went to an eye dr before but my experience there was great. Everyone there is always so helpful and nice. Took the time to explain to me in detail about my eyes and why my vision was going. They were patient with me when finding the perscription that worked for me and teaching me how to put in my contacts. When I needed them adjusted there was no problem in helpling me at all. I definitely recommend going here.

The entire staff was very welcoming and helpful. The doctor spent her time making sure that everything was "just right" with my vision. I am very pleased and will return as well as recommend this office to others!

Annual appointment last week was straightforward and professional. Received my new glasses 8 days later. Thank you for the great service!!
