Very nice facility. Friendly staff and helpful. My first impression was to be at ease that I would receive expert care. My doctor was wonderful. She explained everything and I was able to resolve the problem that day. A big "thumbs up".

My visit at Coastal Eye Center and Dr. Merritt started out great. Everyone very friendly and Dr. Merritt was wonderful. Explained my options to me and said I didnt have to do anything right now that I could get pricing and think on it and let her know. No pressure. Very professional. Not so when I got to the lady to talk about pricing. Her first words were "So when do you want to schedule?" When I explained that I was not scheduling and I wanted to know their pricing...she was not as friendly. Said she guessed she could look up my insurance. Gave me the price per eye and said again "when do you want to schedule?" Did not offer a printout with pricing just verbal. I was told that I had to schedule the same day of my exam because the dates had to match up. Once again I said I was not scheduling and her comment was "I do not get paid on commission." By this time I'm not happy and ready to leave and probably will not go back because of her. Checkout person was great. The lady that did my exam was wonderful. But the scheduling lady left a bad taste in my mouth.

Absolutely awesome!!!! The personalized service is top notch. Having eye surgery can bring up anxiety and uncertainty but Dr Merritt and her staff put me at ease. The staff at the Grand Dune surgery center was also great. I would highly recommend Coastal Eye Group for any of your optical needs.

Very thorough, professional and friendly staff. I would give them 5 stars, except for the wait. I was called fairly promptly after my appointment time and given a preliminary exam, but then waited almost 45 minutes for the doctor. Dr. Merritt was friendly, knowledgeable and thorough with her exam. She explained her findings and explained to me a treatment plan as well as options for finding the best Rx pricing. I would recommend her to others.

From start to finish, the office staff was helpful and courteous. Dr. Merritt is very professional. She clearly explains test results. She spends the time to answer any questions.

Wait time before intake on entry less than 10 minutes. Smooth movement between rooms for separate manual & computer -aided eye checks. All staff were friendly and accommodating. Dr Merritt was professional, personable, explained my conditions, offered advice on treatments, and answered my questions to my satisfaction. Overall, a very satisfactory first experience with this office & staff.

I was seen in a timely fashion all of the staff was courteous and friendly. Dr Merritt explained all the results of my tests. Very satisfied. Have been a patient here for over 10 years.

Completely explained the process of Cataract surgery, along with the risks and the complete post op care. Dr Merritt is highly knowledgeable and skilled and so very pleased. Planning to have the other eye done in December.
