I've been coming to this place since it was Dr. Smith's practice- so around 25 years. Love the optometrist but the receptionist of the past couple of years is so rude I dread going here. Apparently it is practice to cancel appointments that were just recently made if you can't answer a phone call to confirm the day before that you are in fact coming. That's fine, but tell me why the receptionist feels the need to say to me "we called and left messages and messages and messages" in a nasty tone when I didn't react negatively whatsoever to being told my appointment was cancelled? Some of us work 12 hour shifts in a hospital and can't always answer the phone until after hours. Then after scolding me, she looked at my vision insurance card and says "I'll let you know if we're in network" as if she was speaking down to me. It wasn't what she said, but how she said it. I won't be back. How you speak to people matters, and from what I see from previous reviews, this lady has been nasty to customers for a long time with no repercussions.

I was happy with this practice until several months ago. I have several autoimmune diseases that can cause potentially serious eye problems. I started having an issue with my eyes and I waited two weeks to see if it would self resolve. It did not. So I reached out to my rheumatologist and she advised me to contact my eye doctor immediately. I sent a message to Dr Cutright's office explaining my symptoms and what my rheumatologist said. I didn't get a response for two days. And when I did get a response, it was from the receptionist. I was told to go get some eye drops at the store because I had allergies. I practically begged to be seen because I was so miserable and really concerned after what my rheumatologist advised. But I was completely dismissed. I ended up going to another eye doctor who got me in next day (they actually took it seriously). I did in fact have a problem that required 4 medications (3 prescriptions). When I told my rheumatologist what happened she was really unhappy also. I waited a few weeks to process all of it and then I sent a very personal and heartfelt letter to Dr Cutright explaining how this whole scenario made me feel as a patient in need and asked if he wanted me to continue as a patient, or not, based on my conditions. I NEVER EVEN GOT A REPLY. No email, no phone call. Nothing. So I won't be going back. I'm very disappointed by this entire experience. Being completely dismissed and brushed off during a potential emergency situation is not the standard of care that should be given to an existing patient. (No need to reply to my review asking me to contact anyone bc as stated above, I already did that)

Very thorough exam and very professional, yet personable staff. I have been coming here for the past 4 years and they take excellent care of me! Highly recommend. Five stars!

The doctor is very nice and explains everything very well. He is very thorough when he goes over your exam, prescription, and/or any individual needs. He will ask if you have any questions and makes sure you understand your options before leading you to the front to meet a staff member to help with glasses/contacts or check out. The staff that assists with finding the right eyewear are very helpful and patient while you try on and decide on frames. Everyone was very friendly. I would definitely recommend going here for your eye-care needs.

Amazing experience! Top of the line service. Everyone was so friendly including the Doctor. He took the time to explain everything about my eyes! The equipment was state of the art. All staff was friendly. I really liked Theresa in the glasses center, she helped me pick the perfect pair of designer frames and I wasn't even looking to buy! Short wait times from start to finish, clean and welcoming!

Everyone is super nice. The doctor and staff treat you like family and truly care about your eye health.

Awesome friendliness and professionalism. Dr. Cutright's exam is thorough and he explains each step of the process. The office staff is superb! Tess was so helpful with selecting glasses-wonderful selection of frames. Great eye care experience.

This is a small town office, in a good way. Went for a routine eye exam, it took less than an hour from the time we walked in the door to when we left after choosing new glasses. Everyone we met was friendly and helpful and very efficient without being pushy. The screening methods were new technology; the doctor answered every question I had. The dispensary team was very knowledgeable; Christan suggested a new coating for my glasses to increase crispness and offered advice on a different fit than I usually choose. Excellent all around; my new glasses fit better and I can see better than I ever have. If you care about your eyesight, I highly recommend this office.
