America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

I am so very thankful that I chose this store and was lucky enough to get such a wonderful doctor, who likely saved my vision. Dr. Thu-Ha Easter is a young, personable, and very professional and caring doctor. I've been wearing prescription glasses for 10 or 15 years and apparently none of the doctors took enough time to check me accurately. Dr. Easter did the usual tests and said she was concerned because she couldn't tell from something if there was a problem or not. She immediately referred me to a Retinal doctor in Myrtle Beach, which I went to see yesterday. It turns out I have narrow angle glaucoma, and I am scheduled for laser surgery next week. Not only do I have the condition, but one of the medications I have used for more than 10 years has a big red warning not to use it with this condition. I could have had an acute exacerbation at any time and gone completely blind. I cannot thank Dr. Easter enough for her concern and the extra trouble she went through for a complete stranger. She is THE BEST, and quite possibly saved me from blindness. The store itself is bright, clean, and very busy. We only have a couple in North Myrtle Beach, and it takes a month or more to get an appointment. However, my glasses arrived in about a week and were perfect. They filed my insurance and everything turned out wonderfully. I completely recommend this store and most especially the caring excellence of Dr. Easter.

We made an appt. Went in had eye tested. Service was good and friendly. Glasses were in on time. A special shout out to Voncelle. She was very informative and happy and friendly even though she was multi tasking a few things when we spoke to her. Offered us to purchase the warranty. We are very happy with the service.

Not really sure how to rate this. I really liked and appreciate the doctor . The women that work in the front office we're a bit rude. I had several questions I needed answered. I asked my questions to the person that was currently helping me, but no one had an answers for me. I just wanted to know why I wasn't offered the special? why I wasn't offered scratch resistance and transition lenses my previous glasses had them. I just got the feeling they didn't want to be bothered with. I doubt I will return to America's Best in North Myrtle Beach SC.

I've been wearing glasses for over 50 years and it was one of the best experiences I had to date. The ophthalmologist was very thorough. My glasses came in when the staff said. I couldn't be more pleased with my two new pairs of glasses. Just wanted to thank the staff for all their due diligence

The doctor at this location is awesome, my husband & I have been going here for 3 years. However, the nosepad on my husband's glasses came off. On the way to work, we stopped in to have it fixed real fast, the woman at the desk couldn't be bothered. Told us to sit & she'll get someone, she gets on the phone & makes calls, after about 10 min we ask about how long, she says 'When the girl is finished selling a new customer, however long that takes'. So we had to leave. It would've made all the difference in the world if she acted like she cared & gave a time frame from the beginning. Usually everyone is kind & caring here. Not today. It's so frustrating when people are rude for no reason.

From the moment I walked in the majority of the front staff was loud and quite rude. Several customers simply walked out before I did due to the lack of customer service and care. The doctors are great, but.... Wow! Talking about customers & making fun of them in front of other customers. Disrespecting clientele that does not understand technology. Muttering under their breath as they walk away because you tell them exact what you want. This is the worst experience I have ever had in a building involved with the health care of the community. I would watch your HIPAA, it is surely being violated here!

The doctor was a pleasure to work with. The staff up front were quite rude. They have not yet made the reference to a retina specialist for me. Ive called 3 times about the referral so far. I do not intend yo go back there again.

I wanted to give a shout out to both Janine and Voncelle at the 580 Highway 17 N North Myrtle Beach, SC location of America's Best, they went above and beyond to save my weekend. I'm on a Men's group golf weekend and my glasses broke at 6:35 PM and I was 20 minutes away from their store on a rainy Friday evening when I called and asked if there was any way they could fix my glasses, I can't play Golf or Drive without them. I had to drive holding them on my nose and pulled up right at closing time and these ladies were so professional, were of service and made sure my glasses were perfect before they left.. I give my highest personal recommendation to this location, they worked as a team and pulled off a successful repair in minutes! Ladies, I can't thank you enough and I sure hope I didn't cut into your weeekend! Thanks again, you guys are the BEST!! Richard
