Spartanburg Vision

I went there almost over a month ago to get an eye exam and to get new glasses. Besides the front desk staff being unprofessional discussing how they intentionally got a previous employee fired smh it was an okay experience. I opted to have my glasses delivered to my home because I don't drive. I payed the additional amount to have them shipped to my home & 3 weeks later I call them because I have not received them and they say "oh they just came in, we're going to get them mailed out today" that was on a Wednesday. I stay about 10 minutes away so I'm expecting to at least have them at the latest the following Monday. Following week Tuesday still nothing. I give them a call and they're like "The lady you spoke to has been out all week" which I don't understand what that has to do with anyone else doing their job around there and making sure the service I paid for is being provided. She then tells me "You can come pick them up or we get get them mailed to you in 3 days" I advised since I PAID to have them shipped to my home I would like to have them shipped to me. Like why offer the service if y'all can't simply send them to me. Now I'm going into almost over a MONTH & still no glasses! I don't even trust that it will be the correct prescription at this point. I should have just got my prescription and ordered them elsewhere as I started to!!!

I've been going to Dr. Anderson for years, and I'm always pleased with the whole experience at Spartanburg Vision. Dr. Anderson provides excellent care, and I'm thankful for his attention to my questions and concerns. I wear contacts and glasses, and I've always found the team helpful, their selection robust, and their response to issues quick. I've recommended the practice, including the other doctors, to several people and they have nothing but good things to say as well.

The staff at the front desk was extremely rude to my wife. She received a text message asking her to be there 15 minutes before her appointment time. She walked in 20 minutes early, because she also wanted to browse their frame selection. The young lady at the desk remarked that my wife was early, and then proceeded to argue with my wife that the text message said to be there 10 minutes early not 15 minutes early. The young lady then proceeded to talk about my wife to a coworker, including snickering and commentary. My wife left. Before leaving this review, I attempted to speak with the office manager who claimed it was just a "misunderstanding." Hopefully this gets to the correct people, but we will not be back. I've included the text message I received, just for clarity.

Great staff. Complete and more thorough exam than other offices I've been to. Dr Wood takes the time to explain your diagnosis and care. Would highly recommend

Love Spartanburg Vision! They are the best in the business. I have seen four of their Doctors and was pleased with every one of them! The staff is knowledgeable and very friendly.

Best vision place I have been to in my life. Staff is amazing and super helpful. Eye exam was throughout and well explained. this was an amazing experience and highly recommend.
