Great staff! INDIA is so nice and very knowledgeable and of course Dr Newland took the time to explain everything to me concerning my issue that made me feel comfortable. Doc is awesome as always! Low Country Eye Care is the best! I highly recommend.

The office staff are very friendly, nice and informative. I did not have to wait long, being a new patient and the process seemed to just roll along very timely, after my name was called. Dr. Newland was very personable and realistic about my aging eyes and current medical conditions. He listened to my concerns and adjusted my prescription appropriately. Mr. Kevin at the optical center was extremely patient and helpful with my concerns from previous glasses and helped me decide which route I should go. First time for prescription sunglasses as well. Kevin was very knowledgeable and friendly. I really appreciated everyone throughout the entire experience. Recommend them for all your eye care needs!!

I love my doctor. He's the best and so is his staff!! Dr. Newland is patient, explains his procedures, kind, smart, and overall a great person and doctor. I have been a patient for many many years and plan to continue with him. I have it all so why would i change?

Not happy with cataract surgery. Blurred vision and dry eyes. Tried their "Dry Eye" Institute. All expensive useless products and constant drain of the wallet. After a year of that, numerous products, Yag lazer treatment by Kerry Solomon, my eye sight is terrible. The lenses used in my cataract surgery were multifocal. No one told me that there was a risk of so many problems. The lenses were called the "Cadillac" and that they would be wonderful. They have been a nightmare. Had Yag lazer treatment by Dr. Kerry Solomon. Had problems for over a year. Vision is blurred. Dry eyes...not helped by different procedures offered. Last time I went to Carolina Eyecare, Dr. Solomon saw me. He was rude, abrupt, and totally uncaring. Talking about my cataract replacement lenses, he said to me, "You wanted these; you paid for them; they're yours." I was stunned at his rude and unprofessional comment. That was my last apt at Carolina Eyecare. I have renamed them..."Carolina Eye DON'T Care". I have since gone to another eye doctor at another practice. They are caring and worked with me to find an answer for my terrible vision. This doctor took time to find a solution with glasses. I can now see again, but only with glasses. I wish my first doctor and Dr. Solomon had been as caring as my present doctor.
