This was our first visit, and we were referred to specifically consult Dr. K Madhukar Reddy, by a close relative's previous experience. However, while we were enroute to this Branch, we were informed by our relative that prior appointment is required hence we called ahead on the phone number listed on the Google search page for this particular Branch, we explained that we're on the way for an eye problem, and whether or not Dr. Reddy is available. The individual who answered, seemed impatient and in a hurry to hangup, stated that Dr. Reddy is IN today however he's quite busy and asked us to schedule an appointment for the next day instead. Only when we described our emergency (due to pus discharge alongwith slight bleeding) is when he agreed to the visit and asked us to come down. Before we could ask his name (for reference), as stated initially, he abruptly hung up?! We arrived and, at the reception we explained this is a first-time visit, made the payment, and we had to wait for about 15-20 mins before being called, in to one of the consultation rooms for the initial eye check-up while describing our problems. The assistant applied some eye drops then proceeded to checked both eyes, answered our queries, and asked medical history then keyed in the existing medications being used, into their system. She then asked us to proceed to the 1st floor, to meet with the doctor. Eventually, after about 45-mins of waiting, we were called in and asked to be seated in Dr. Reddy's chamber. After a brief handshake, then describing the eye problems, he swiftly began examining each eye carefully then, patiently answered our questions, suggested certain medications for a continued treatment plan, we then discussed way forward incase the situation didn't improve. Truly grateful for Dr. Reddy who's remained optimistic and reassuring!

Dr. Ramakanth the Retina specialist,is an excellent Doctor that the city of Hyderabad is blessed with. He is an amazing Doctor quiet capable of doing the impossible. My name is Angelina Francis,Ihad got my cataract surgery at Prema Eye hospital at ASRao nagar,Dr Mitta had performed the surgery,he failed to detect that the cataract I had was a Post Capsular Cataract. Hence he ended up totally damaging my Right eye. He asked me to report back after a week. I was totally devastated,so some one in the family referred to Dristi Eye hospital and we quickly rushed here.Dr Madhukar examined me and said that not much can be done, but he suggested that we meet Dr Ramakanth. We waited and consulted him. He too said that it was really damaged beyond repair but I'll give it a try. And Hallelujah ! He restored back my eye today I'm so greatful to God and to Dr Ramakanth I am able to see again. I would recommend him and rate him to be a top class Doctor

Good eye center. Been consulting Dr. K Madhukar Reddy for years for the entire family. Rs.500/- consultation charges. Optometrists are also well trained. Parking is bit difficult and after examination you will have blurry vision for 4-5 hours, so better come with someone who can drive or come by auto/cab.

I use to take my mother to Dr. Ramakanth Reddy since past decade before he shifted to Drishti eye Hospital, Srinagar Colony. With that acquaintance, I have taken my wife since she is diagnosed with glaucoma. In the meanwhile, she has developed with some Retina problem. He suggested for surgery and with great hope on him we have undergone the surgery. Unfortunately, the surgery was not successful and her vision got impaired. Whenever we visit the doctor, he use to say the eye is stable. He never revealed the truth that the surgery was not done properly. I have taken my wife to two more retina specialists who have told that the surgery was not done properly. So, my wife has to undergo surgery one more time at Medivision eye hospital. Fortunately, the second surgery along with cataract was successful. The doctor on whom we had high expectations turned out to be failure. My wife has narrowly escaped from vision loss. Ofcourse , the glaucoma persists. So what I would like to say is that the doctor never revealed the facts and always used the word "stable" whereas the other doctors pointed out the problem immediately. The doctor couldn't keep up our trust on him and we were Very disappointed. Luckily, we could overcome the problem with the kindness of other doctor.

Staff are very cooperative. Dr. Madhukar reddy garu 's treatment is much appreciated. Hospital is well maintained.

Hospital staff and doctors referred treated well hospital ambience hygiene and manitainence is good near by to main city facility.

The best retina specialist surgeon dr ramakanth reddy sir.....best services in this hospital. But in this hospital health insurence companys not work in cash less facility not available. This is main problem in this hospital
