Eyecare Plus Hickory Hollow Antioch

We had an appointment scheduled for an eye exam, but they informed us that they were extremely busy that day and that we would have to wait a considerable amount of time to be seen and for the entire process to be completed. Additionally, we were unable to have our contact lenses fitted on the same day, so we returned to the vision center. They informed us again that there would be a wait, as they were busy, and we were only there for a contact lens fitting and pickup. We waited for 30 minutes to be seen. Afterward, we underwent a trial lens, vision check, and training session all took us almost 3 hours. Unacceptable! It is unreasonable for anyone to have to spend an entire day in a vision center. And taking us most of our 2 days. We will be going somewhere else for service from now on.

My check-in process through the initial intake and eye exam was excellent. The staff who handled the preliminary steps and the eye exam itself were professional and efficient. However, the wait time after my eyes were dilated before seeing the doctor was excessively long and unreasonable - approximately 50 minutes -- which was very frustrating. The worst part of the entire experience, by far, was the front desk associate who handled frame selection and checkout. Her behavior was extremely unprofessional, rude, and disrespectful. She was the primary reason I chose not to purchase my glasses from your office. I am giving one star only because of her rudeness!

They are extremely difficult to get a hold of. They never answer the phone and when you leave a message they still don't call you back. The website was down and I was unable to make payments online, and I notified them of this. They then sent me to collections because I could not make payments online. I am disabled and cannot drive and the lady with billing named Christine I believe was extremely rude and hateful, she refused to pull back me being sent to collections and pretty much said that it was my "choice" to not come in and make a payment in person (I am disabled and cannot drive). She was being very ableist and unprofessional. She also essentially called me a liar when I informed her that the system was down and was unable to make the payments she said the system was not down, insinuating I was lying. I will never use eye care plus ever again.

Awful customer service! You have to almost demand help when you walk in. The lady at the counter to the left is so nasty it's ridiculous. She needs to get a job that makes her happy! They quoted me almost $300 before I even picked out frames. I declined everything "recommended" and paid $50! I went back to pick up the glasses & was basically handed them and told bye. No offer to make sure they fit which is standard practice! If you don't give in to the 12 different offers to have your medical insurance ran for unnecessary tests they treat you like crap! I wouldn't recommend this place to a freaking animal!

I've had double cornea transplants so I can't trust my eyes to just anybody... The doctor who fitted me for the specialty contacts... the Dr who prescribed all the drops & gave coupons & clear directions for eye care....& the techs were attentive & proficient... But Michelle, Michelle is a VALUABLE Asset to your business, please Don't Mess It Up!!! Thank you Michelle, for explaining how my vision benefits work... I will be able to save some out of pocket $'s

First of all the staff was nice. I love the doctor but when calling in your phone doesn't work I push the options and then it says call ended. Nobody ever answers the phone that is frustrating. I'm trying to give the rest of my insurance information and I can't get a hold of anyone. I've been trying for three days. Hopefully the phone system will get fixed because the options are not working option number 23 and four does not work

Excellent customer service. My glasses came back faster than I expected and they did a great job. This is my second time getting glasses here - I appreciate the care and attention that the employees give to each customer. I'll definitely return every time I'm due for a new prescription.

I've been going here for a little while now, but some of the staff worker's attitudes just aren't that friendly or nice. The doctor I see is fine though. Just because of some staff worker's I don't feel really welcomed so I'm going to find another place that's a little more friendly with attitudes
