This would have been a 5-star rating but I had a followup visit scheduling issue on both visits. I'm not sure which office (either surgeon or followup doctor) was at fault but both offices were cordial and accomodating in the end. Need to work on offices' attention to detail.

They were GREAT. Love them and will continue to use them from now on. We have been using another eye center here in Crossville and they were ripping us off, for the last two years. We have vision insurance but they told me my daughter had something wrong with her optic nerve that would need to be watched closely and that would have to be filed as medical insurance because it was a medical diagnosis. Cost me $200 out of pocket cause vision insurance didn't cover that. So this year I made an appointment here at Boyd Family Eye care and I didn't say anything to the Dr this morning, cause I wanted to see what he would say when he looked at the pictures of her eye. He said her optic nerve was perfect and everything looked great. The other place said I had some thing wrong with my eyes also, and cost me money out of pocket because it was medical diagnosis . Have an appointment with Boyd Family Eyecare next week can't wait to see what they say.
The staff here at Boyd Family Eyecare are all super nice and friendly. Great service all around

ive went to boyd for quite a while now, i just had another visit today!! the staff are so sweet and helpful. i had a vr eye test at first, which was new, but it was a really cool experience! dr. boyd was also super kind as always, and helped me fix my prescription as usual!! i usually get my frames online, and i'm glad that they are fine with giving me just my updated prescription to get the glasses i really want. i definitely recommend boyd eye care if you need a great, trusting eye doctor!

Visited them this morning. Every person we encountered was the epitome of professionalism. Very, very pleasant and helpful staff. Dr. Boyd was terrific. He explained everything completely and answered all questions thoroughly. Just a very, very pleasant experience. So much so that my wife made an appointment with them while we were there. At first I was hesitant to try a new eye care center but after but after my first visit I was impressed with the selection of glasses, never had that much to choose from. So I made an appointment which was to my surprise was the next day. I can honestly say I've never been so impressed with the exam process, they had all the latest and greatest equipment which made the entire process so easy, I'd definitely recommend Boyd family eye care to anyone and everyone.

I've been using Boyd Family Eyecare for years. I'm impressed with the professionalism and friendlessness of the staff. The office is open and inviting. I had a10 o'clock appointment and was taken right at 10.
They checked my insurance days before my visit to find out exactly what is covered and what I'm responsible for and informed me ahead of time.
The technology in the office is very efficient and modern.
I'm very pleased with the whole experience.

Let's start with something good. Went there to have my eyes checked in which the nurses did a great job! Now on the other side the doctors were arrogant and unprofessional. Also after ordering glasses I received a pair where the lenses kept popping out. I took them back only to receive a pair that I didn't pick out, which I had to make another trip back to try and fix the issue. They sent my glasses back to the company while saying they would be fixed once again, and I STILL received a pair of glasses I did not pick out. This continued for about 5-6 times until I finally gave up and figured this place had no idea what they're doing. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY! needless to say I am stuck with a $550 pair of glasses that I can't even wear. I would recommend ANY WHERE but this place if you need glasses/contacts. I Also have another family member who had the same issue with them and still hasn't gotten hers resolved...
