McClure Eye Center

Dr McClure did my cataract surgery this year and he did an amazing job I don't need glasses anymore. I have been going there for years to have my eyes checked because of my Diabetes and Abigail his wife is more like a friend than an employee. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

Mother went here, receptionist is horribly rude, nobody explained anything to her, they dilated her eyes AT NIGHT, BY HERSELF, didn't tell her they were dilating her eyes just said they were putting "drops in" said they took her insurance and then made her pay $50 as she's leaving saying insurance didn't cover it, so mom calls her insurance and it was nothing to do with them and said she has no copay that she shouldn't have been charged on their part, and that they don't even have this place on their network. So no explanation for the $50 charge. Horrible run down place needs to be shut down.

Dr. McClure is great!!! He is a man of few words and that is fine! I took our special needs adult son for an eye exam. Dr. McClure did not require masks which is great because Nic does not do masks! Dr. McClure gave us the Pupil Distance on the RX and a list of online Dispensaries. Our son loves his new glasses!!! When it is time for my next eye exam, this is where I will go.

Dr. McClure bedside manner is horrible. He was not friendly. He barely talked to us and seemed annoyed we were there. Didn't explain the new medication he gave to my 70 year old mother. Dilated her eyes gave her no glasses when we left. We did not feel comfortable from the moment we got there. If your going to be in the people business you need to know how work and talk to your patients. Will not be back

Have been going to Dr. McClure for over twenty two years. He is not very personable, because that is his personality. He always answers your questions when you ask. He is very good at his job and I will ALWAYS trust him with my eye issues.

My son had some eye trauma due to a car accident. He was to follow up with an ophthalmologist. Dr. McClure was the only one local who could see him on short notice. He was rough, indifferent, and acted like we were a bother to him. He may be a good doctor but we won't be back.

Just had the first eye appointment in my life today, and I had a great experience at Dr. McClure's office. Very throughout and helpful. Thanks, Doc!!!
