Peace Eyecare

Fastest eye exam ever (not in a good way). One week before Thanksgiving 2024. Needed glasses, wanted contacts. Insurance paid for the glasses. I still cannot wear them. Received one pair of trial contacts. Could not even walk around the house with them. Took the glasses & contacts back about April 2025. Can't wear the glasses, still have no trial contacts. No calls/texts/etc from the office. So guess I just threw my money away. I will never go back there. I'll find an eye doctor who might actually want my business. It's not this place. They don't seem to care.

I have seen Dr. Peace for over 10 years! He is a great doctor, and he will make sure your eyes are taken care of. I no longer live in the area, but I still make a point to come here. Cecilia, the manager, is a sweetheart!

I first went to Peace Eyecare around 2016, but moved away for college after that. Now that I'm back in the area, I recently went to see Dr. Peace for a new pair of glasses. Dr. Peace does a great job of explaining the science behind his medical opinions and recommendations. It's clear that his focus is on the health and well-being of his patients above all else. Also, his staff are super friendly and helpful! The office manager, Cecilia, is such a kind woman and remembered me even after so many years. I'm thankful to have such a great local optometrist!

I had to get an annual eye exam or else my insurance was going to start charging me $40 a week. I had three days and I was going to call around everywhere, peace was my first call and told me they had a 7:45 appointment the next day and I was very relieved. The next morning at 7:20 they canceled my appointment and rescheduled me for 11:15 the next day (during my work hours). They had nothing to say to me other than well I guess you can call around and find someone who can see you today, I asked if they knew anybody who does walk in annual eye exams and they were short with me and would not recommend anyone. Maybe I'm being irrational but this office just cost me $2000 so I think I'm vindicated here.

Dr. Peace and his staff are the best! I never thought I would look forward to going to the eye doctor, but here we are! Highly recommend.

We moved here recently from Ohio. Dr. Peace told me I had an astigmatism which no one in the past cared to inform me of! I am now in the correct prescription. They also took wonderful care of my 11 year old who is in both contacts and glasses. The staff here is fantastic - especially Cecilia! She is the sweetest most kind woman who will go above and beyond. Highly recommend!

I've been going to Dr. Peace since I moved to Nashville in 2011. Dr. Peace and his staff have always been so nice and accommodating to me! (including getting me in for last minute appointments!) I've been to 2 out of the 3 locations in Nashville and every single staff member i've come across has treated me like family. Dr. Peace, Cecilia and Dana (and everyone else) are truly the best. Small side story: Last year, I moved to FL and I had to find a new eye doctor. The new eye doctor was kind, but nothing like the family atmosphere that Peace eye care provides. I received new contacts from the new eye doc in FL. The brand was way more expensive, but I just trusted that they were what's best for me. Well, luckily I've moved back to Nashville this year and saw Dr. Peace again. He explained to me that the contacts the eye doc in FL had me in were overkill and were way more expensive than I personally needed. Y'all. This is the kind of doctor you need. One who is honest and will always do what's best for you. If you need an eye doc in Nashville. Go see Dr. Peace and his staff! You will not be disappointed!

I have always had great experiences at Peace Eyecare. I have been seeing Dr. Peace for 2 years now, and will see him again this summer for the 3rd year. He is great, and I feel like his exams are very thorough and that I receive all the information that I am looking for. The first year, I opted to order contacts and it was a great experience. Last year, I decided I needed a new pair of glasses. Unfortunately, I didn't find a pair of frames that I liked there, so I ended up going somewhere else for my frames and to have them filled. I highly encourage you to visit Dr. Peace's office!
