Staff is experienced and great. I highly recommend this office implement a voicemail system or answering machine. Currently, patients with early 7:30 AM appointments have no way to leave a message if they are running late or need to communicate before the doors open. Adding this would significantly improve the patient experience and streamline communication

Dr. Dieckhaus is a wonderful doctor. He has helped me in emergency situations twice with my right eye and my left when I cut my cornea and when I got something like glue in my other eye. He got me in immediately the day after Christmas when I was really suffering and again after the New Year in 2025. I can't say enough good about him and his staff. They were very caring and took exceptional care of me and my injuries. I won't ever forget it and though I hope I never hurt my eyes again, he would be the Doctor I would call!!

Caring, detail oriented, wonderful doctor if you are considering cataract surgery.

I just had my first cataract surgery yesterday, performed by Dr. Dieckhaus. I am very pleased with my experience so far. The thought of having things done to my eyes is, to say the least, very nerve-racking. The staff at the facility, along with Dr. Dieckhaus, did a great job of reducing my level of stress, and I am very appreciative of that. I have been to some doctors who were so calloused that they belittled me for being nervous, and I am grateful that I experienced nothing like that with Dr. Dieckhaus and his staff. He is a genuinely compassionate person, and that is evident in the way he interacted with me. My sister very recently had cataracts removed in both of her eyes, and Dr. Dieckhaus was her physician, too. She had the same, very positive experience, and that is why she recommended him to me.

Our 15 year old son has been dealing with a stye/chalazion for six months that no matter what we tried (conservative treatments, ointments, antibiotics, etc.), we could not get it to go away. My son didn't want to go to school today because it had gotten so bad and he felt embarrassed, which of course made my heart hurt for him. Enter Dr. Dieckhaus. Once he heard what had been going on with our son, he fit him in SAME DAY for not only the consultation but made time in his busy schedule to do the procedure to help drain my son's eye sore (pun intended) as well. The procedure was going to be painful and uncomfortable but he talked it through with my son and me and his bedside manner could not have been better. My son felt good moving forward with the procedure because Dr. Dieckhaus made him feel comfortable and well-informed. Dr. Dieckhaus is an absolute angel - and the rest of the staff was marvelous as well! I highly recommend them next time you need an excellent ophthalmologist. Thank you so much, Dr. Dieckhaus!
