Eyecare Plus Green Hills

I paid most of my balance at my visit and received a letter about the remainder of my bill. I tried calling this office 4 times and emailed them 3 times regarding the balance. I got no response from them. And instead of calling me back or returning my emails they sent me to collections. I find that highly unprofessional as a medical business. You should not have a phone number or email published if you are not going to answer them.

I would strongly advise avoiding Eyecare Plus in Green Hills. The staff is consistently rude, defensive, and unprofessional, and the level of incompetence is astonishing. I arrived for a scheduled appointment--confirmed by their office just two hours earlier--only to be told it had been cancelled without any notice. When I asked for clarification, the staff became argumentative instead of taking responsibility. It's no surprise they seem unable to keep doctors on staff if this is how they treat patients. Completely unreliable and disrespectful experience. This is my third terrible experience (they happen to be conveniently located) and somehow it keeps getting worse. Clearly, this is my last.

I booked an appointment last night. Website said they had 30 (not exaggeration) appointments available for today. I showed up not a soul in sight other than the staff. Parking lot empty, they told me that was a request and they have to approve it before it's scheduled... she tells me they could see me as a walk-in but there's a $49 walk in fee. I've never heard of such a thing- you mean to tell me that you have availability, there's a doctor available? You should take my business without any surcharges, sounds like easy money already without the surcharge. I was irritated enough that my appointment and all my intake information I provided online wasn't honored but then to say you're going to charge me an additional fee because you didn't approve the appointment. Its just bad business. I left. Good way to lose out on business. Sad too cause I work across the street and I just moved to Nashville so would've been an easy long time customer.

Every time I am here the staff is so incredible and warm and sweet. They seem to genuinely care and I appreciate the heck out of that. So recommend. Love them!

Do not purchase glasses her unless you want to be treated like trash, over charged, and wait over a month. I typically go to Costco for my glasses, but when my daughter needed her first pair of glasses, I thought I might offer her a more personalized experience. Big mistake. They said it would take 7 days for her glasses to be made, then 7-10 business days, then over a month later we were still waiting. They ended up delivering to our house 5 week later. All the time she was having headaches. They also charged me one amount when we ordered them, then called to charge another amount, and then when we came in to get the glasses fitted charged me more money. How disorganized can you be about accounting? When we later went to have her glasses fitted, they took the glasses in the back and then told me they straighten them. When my daughter tried them on her face, they were very crooked. So, the tech put them on the table and told me they were straight. Last time I checked, glasses were suppose to fit on a person not a table. She then told me she "didn't care" and "I had to go" and "there was nothing she could do". When I asked for the number of the customer service representative, she gave me the appointment card for the optometrist and told me she was the manager (even though I hadn't asked for either of these things). The optometrist was great and the prescription was perfect for both myself and my daughter, but skip buying glasses or contacts!! Terrible experience all around.

I had a great experience at the Green Hills location this week. I took my little friend who is 7 and English is her 2nd language. They were so patient and accommodating with her. They custom made her a chart because I knew she could see the letter she just couldn't name it. It was a pleasant experience and I'm so thankful they loved and respected a little girl from Turkey! Dr Kylie and the staff that day were exceptional.

I walked in to have a look at their selection of frames and was told that I could not look unless I gave them my driver's license and they would take a copy of it and keep the copy. !? I said "No thank you" and went to 3 other opticals within 2 minutes of them to find my new pair of glasses. So strange that to shop for a new pair of glasses, they want a copy of your driver's license. Do not recommend going there.

This office needs to be shut down IMMEDIATELY!!! Every staff member is utterly incompetent and unprofessional. They can't make a distinction between an insurance company or manufacturer. They've taken my money, and provided me ZERO explanation on the status of my order. Nearly $400 spent, in-network, for benefits eligible Rx lens and frames and absolutely nothing after waiting nearly 5 weeks from date of service. DO NOT go here!!!! Won't cancel/refund my order, which is required if I want to get a new exam and new order for benefits eligible frames and lens. WHAT a JOKE! The State board needs to act swiftly to ensure less fortunate costumers are screwed the same as I've been. Rest in Pieces EyecarePlus Green Hills!!!
