I was referred to Dr. Pilkinton through my optometrist in Franklin, TN. From the first thorough visit to the actual surgery appointments to the follow-up visits, I was treated with respect and kindness. I quickly learned that Dr. Pilkinton is not only a talented surgeon but also has very high expectations of himself. After the first surgery on my left eye, he was not satisfied with the results and believed that a second surgery could give me better long-term vision. And, he was correct! I now have 20/20 vision, which I haven't had since childhood! Kudos to him and his entire staff. Highly recommend.

I recently had the pleasure of being a patient of Dr. Dale Pilkinton of Pilkinton Eye Center for removal of my cataracts. From the first time I walked into their offices, I was treated with friendliness, respect, and professionalism. My surgeries went off without a hitch, and I'm proud to say that not only do I not have cataracts anymore, but my vision is 20/20! I read all the comments here and the ones who gave Dr. Pilkinton or his staff a bad review, there's two sides to every story. He and his staff are the nicest and most competent people I've seen. I worked for eye surgeons for many years and Dr. Pilkinton is above any of them. His expertise and knowledge is amazing. I like it when a doctor has great bedside manner, which he does but I pay for a knowledgeable surgeon and physician. I am super impressed with Dr. Pilkinton and his staff. The only thing I wish he'd do differently is spend 2 days in Franklin. Downtown Nashville doesn't do it for me!

Assembly line care. Rushed through the prep work for the surgery -the scheduling person talked fast, worked fast, answered fast. The day of the surgery you are a number in a corral. Don't just read the good reviews. Bandaging used to tape the eye patch tore off skin which adding to increased healing time and possible infection. Cannot recommend this place. Quantity of patients seem not quality describes patient care seems the priority.

If you need cataract surgery, this is the very best place to be! Dr. Pilkinton did an amazing job and now I have 20/20 vision! He and his staff were so professional and answered every question I had. I am still amazed at how great my vision is since the surgery. I highly recommend Pilkinton Eye Center. You can't find a better place!!

Dr. Pilkinton performed my cataract surgery. I can't thank him and his staff enough for the care I received from them. First class operation from the initial consultation to completion of the cataract surgery. The procedure was painless, I knew exactly what to expect and the care I received was the best! Don't put off cataract surgery and don't have your procedure done until after you have consulted with Dr. Pilkinton. He and his team are the best!

Dr Pilkinton and his entire staff are excellent! Everyone is so pleasant and knowledgeable and eager to provide the best possible care, answer any questions, and encourage them so you'll be comfortable throughout the process. His office staff is amazing and the surgery staff is too. Highly recommend him for cataract surgery. Vision afterward is fabulous! Better than I've seen since 2nd grade! Can't say enough good things about this experience!!
