SEE Eyewear

I've been going to SEE Eyewear for years, and they are hands down the best. Dr. Thewes is so patient, kind, and thorough. I never feel rushed, and she always takes time to answer my questions. The other staff members are amazing, too. I'm VERY picky about frames, and they're endlessly patient while helping me find styles that fit what I've liked in the past (and sometimes gently nudging me to try something new!). While the glasses can be a bit pricey, the quality and style selection make it completely worth it. 10/10. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my eye care!

My wife and I shop for our eyewear exclusively at See in Hillsboro Village in Nashville, Tennessee. We work with Brian and he literally is the best at what he does. He knows what styles we both like and is always ready to show us eyewear that is exactly what we want. The entire team at this store is excellent, knowledgeable and so friendly. I can't imagine shopping for eyewear at any other place. My wife and I are consistently complemented on our glasses. We always tell them to go visit Brian at See Eyewear in Hillsboro Village. He truly is the best at what he does.

There is lots of competition in the "eye wear world" these days. Your SEE store on 21st Ave in Nashville is the gold standard on how eye wear choice and service should be provided. Review of SEE Eyewear, Nashville 21st Ave I'm writing this as a husband. My wife spent over a thousand dollars at SEE, and this was already her second trip driving 35 miles to pick up her glasses. One pair was fine, but the other pair she literally could not see through. Instead of helping, the saleswoman made my wife feel like it was her fault. She asked questions like, "This is a 24, do you want me to order a 25?" My wife had no idea what that even meant, and kept saying, "I just want to see." The exchange reduced her to tears. Thankfully, a salesman eventually stepped in and seemed to get the order right, but here we are nearly two weeks later and still no glasses. The worst part is the timing. This week was my wife's grand opening of her business, complete with ribbon cutting and photos. She bought new glasses specifically for that important moment, and instead had to wear her old, scratched pair. She was miserable on a day that should have been nothing but joy. As a husband, I recommend you take your wives somewhere else. The drama at SEE does not warrant their bougie glasses at high prices. I can only hope our next trip to pick up my wife's glasses is not a repeat of this mess.

I love this place so much!! I found it when I first moved to Nashville in 2017. Their product selection and customer service is completely unmatched. If you shop here, you will get a unique pair of glasses and a boost of confidence! Ask for Brian- he was extremely helpful and gave me exactly what I wanted before I even knew what I wanted! I would give 10 stars if I could!

Short version of a long story... I was referred to Vanderbilt's top neuroophthalmologist who didn't know how to help me and wrote a bad prescription for my vision. I went to SEE to get the prescription filled. I got the glasses and it was messed up. DR. SHAY THEWES, OD (SEE Eywear) performed and eye exam, nailed the prescription, and corrected the prescription helping the vision problems I was having at the time. This is why I go to SEE, and to get the coolest frames in town! Optical stylist Jessica Jo can hook you up with frames that look great on you. They aren't the cheapest game in town, but they ROCK at what they do!!

Dr. Thewes and Jessica were very professional and genuinely listened to my concerns and preferences. Jessica helped me select the perfect pairs of eyewear. I am excited to pick them up. Jessica was also kind to clean and refit my older glasses. This is why I come back to SEE year after year!

Betsy, Brian and Dr. Shea in Nashville on 21st Ave are THE ABSOLUTE BEST IN THE BIZ!! Nothing Short of Rock Stars!! I've Purchased SEVERAL Pair from them and they always exceed my expectations! My Honey has a few pair too!! #TeamSee!!
