Vision for Life: Jeffrey D. Horn, M.D.

I underwent cataract surgery and corrective lens replacement in both eyes four years ago by Dr. Horn at Vision for Life. Last week I returned for a follow up procedure related to those surgeries. During this journey, I had many visits to this office with pre-surgical visits, the actual surgeries, and follow up visits. As much as no one wants to need surgery, I must tell you that every visit was actually a great experience! Dr. Horn is clearly knowledgeable and experienced as a physician. He is also kind and patient to answer questions and prepare you for what to expect. He is completely transparent about the cost of all aspects of treatment from the actual surgery to needed prescriptions. He is an extremely gifted surgeon and makes every patient his top priority during his time with them. As excellent as he is as a doctor and a surgeon, what further sets him apart from all others is that he surrounds himself with a team that is just as exceptional at what they do. Every single person in that office is top notch from the front desk, to the billing office, to the techs. Every. Single. One. They have never once failed to answer my call. They are all welcoming and patient and kind. I feel fortunate to have received top notch treatment, but I feel absolutely blessed to have received it from such a wonderful group of people. I can not possibly recommend Dr. Horn and Vision for Life more highly!

If you have concerns, please read on: I elected to have both eyes corrected via lens replacement at 49 y/o. And while I found their staff to be incredibly professional, attentive, and patient focused, I was still incredibly nervous about the procedure. On the day of the surgery, each person shared what the experience would be like and how I would feel. The anesthesiologist giggled when I said I was likely going to be her worst patient. "Will I be awake for the whole thing?" "Yes, but I promise, you won't care." Let me tell you - I don't know that lady's name, but I could absolutely hug her neck. The whole procedure felt quick, painless, and even comforting. Dr. Horn was incredibly proficient, even when I didn't quite follow instructions. (sorry sir). The next thing I know - I am being wheeled to recovery and handed the most delicious Sprite ever. Later that day, and twice the following day, they called to check on me, ensuring I didn't have any questions or concerns. Patient with patients - that is rare these days. I've never had an experience so well orchestrated and executed - all patient focused. I was emotional on the drive home to finally see how beautiful and detailed nature is. Thank you to your entire staff, nurses, anesthesiologist (!!), and to the leadership of Dr. Horn.

Dr. Horn is a master of his craft. My surgery was painless. His staff is amazing!! I gave them 5 stars due to my results. I highly recommend going with the top tier lenses for best outcome. Wish I would have done this procedure sooner. Can't say enough about his skills!!!!

The whole experience with Dr. Horn and his team was incredible. I highly recommend going to them for LASIK because my life has been completely changed for the better! The only sad part is that I won't be a frequent visitor of the amazing receptionists and technicians who showed real care for me as a person. Once again, this was an amazing procedure done by a team of wonderful people!

If you are thinking of LASIK, I highly suggest Dr. Horn and his team! They are so helpful and friendly and take care of their patients. I wish I'd went to them sooner due to another office waiting until the week of surgery and taking my $200 to all of a sudden say I was no longer a candidate. Dr. Horns office did a multitude of tests to make sure everything was good to go. They were also very accommodating with my schedule, even when they needed to reschedule at the last minute. They worked with me to make sure I was able to get my surgery. I have worn glasses/contacts for 34 years due to horrible astigmatism (-4.75). I had my surgery on 11/12/25 and everything went great! Although, it will take a bit to fully heal, I am already so impressed with my results. It's such a wonderful feeling to be able to wake up and see the world clearly and not have to grab for my glasses. I never thought this day would come but Dr. Horn made it possible. He and his team are absolutely THE BEST!

My experience with Dr. Horn and team was absolutely amazing. Every person from the front office, to the back office, to the amazing techs, to Dr. Horn, every person I interacted with was extremely polite, professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. No notes for improvement because I thought the whole process was perfect. Best of all, my LASIK procedure went flawlessly, I've had zero side effects or issues, and in less than 24 hours my vision went from 20/300 to 20/15. Life changing. I couldn't be happier with my decision to have LASIK done with Dr. Horn's team at Vision for Life.

The desk people were friendly. The wait time too see Dr. Horn was not long at all. The eye exam an was done quickly. The time with Dr Horn was good an explained to me about the eye problems I have. He is very kind an explains thing's too you. Enjoyed the visit.

Highly recommended for all ages - young and old! I'm 21 and partook in the EVO lenses surgery to correct my vision. I've had a delightful experience with Dr. Horn and his staff from start to finish. Always professional and ready to help when needed. #chooseHorn
