She made the whole process enjoyable and stress-free. Even when we found out our insurance wouldn't cover as much here, we decided to stay because of the amazing customer service. Highly recommend! I'm not the biggest fan of Walmart, however, I've been coming to the optical center for several years now and everyone there is always helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. They also have a great selection of glasses and the employees have helped me make decisions on what frames best suit me.

That one star is only given because I couldn't not get away with not giving a star. My advise is RUN . At this Dickerson Road location the animals are running the zoo. I will never go back. The Optician will not be there until 9.20.24. Of course I didn't receive this valuable information until my third attempt to order my glasses, one doctor's visit and one phone call. It was the same apprentice I dealt with on all the occasions. She sat very nonchalantly and told me about the Optician. Are there signs anywhere or is it on the voicemail about the optician not being there absolutely NOT. They have got to do better when it comes to customer service. To top everything off per my vision insurance company I ordered my glasses from Dickerson Rd location and therefore I was only eligible for contacts which I have never worn in my life. After calling my HR department the mess they created was worked out. Again avoid at all cost it is not worth the headache and frustration.

I have a disagreement about how a black woman who works in this place treated me. I wanted to buy some new glasses and I entered the place and I liked some and I tried them on and she approached me and told me those glasses are for women and she snatched them from my hands. hands and the truth is, I didn't realize that they were women's because they were close to the man's and I told him I was sorry and he just made me look bad and told me in a bad way that if I messed up the glasses to put them in their place and I told him it's fine but he only made me look bad again and he was taking care of me as if he were going to steal something from me and I felt very bad and I better left the place.

This location is so lucky to have occasional help from Valerie B! My vision insurance would not cover lenses from the place I originally wanted to purchase glasses from, which made me kinda bummed. Once I got to the vision center, Valerie offered to find out how much my insurance actually covered. Turns out that they only covered $80 of the $150 they claimed to cover- which made me even more bummed.
With Valerie's (and another girl who's name I didn't get) assistance, I narrowed down which frames looked best on me. When I walked out of the vision center, I felt great about the glasses I bought! They made me feel just as cute and confident as the original glasses I wanted to buy, from the place my insurance didn't cover. That was all thanks to Valerie. She was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and kind. Thanks to her, I was able to find a pair of glasses that I LOVE.

Would absolutely recommend to anyone! Great staff, they all know what they're doing. Went in for my eye exam and contacts (less than 15 minutes had I not struggled with my contacts), they were thorough with everything and demonstrated proper contact use (yes I'm a noob to it). Patient through my struggle and real good price!

They have a big sign saying"WALK-INS WELCOME". DO NOT BELIEVE IT!! I went 3 times and each time I was told to make an appointment hours later or another day. If this was feasible for me I would have done it in the beginning!! MOST IMPORTANTLY, THE RECEPTIONIST HAD A VERY NASTY ATTITUDE AND ACTED AS IF SHE DIDNT WANT TO BE BOTHERED EACH TIME. I do not recommend ANYBODY go to this Walmart Vision Ctr (I won't be anymore)! EVERYBODY DESERVES TO BE TREATED WITH RESPECT!!
