All I have to say is I paid for a service and product then never received said product or service then they would not honor it after I paid for it. The lady was very rude and not understanding. I guess being on welfare deserves discrimination. I can't them several times and nothing was ever done

This is my 3rd or 4th year seeing Dr Palmer and he never disappoints! Staff is very friendly as well.

I saw Dr.Palmer last month for the first time, and I had a pretty good experience. The wait was long, but he's only one man and it wasn't too big of a deal. Dr.Palmer was very polite and makes you feel very comfortable. I would come again.

Dr. Palmer himself is great, super friendly and personable. The receptionist however might be the rudest individual I've ever interacted with. I asked to know my copay before my appointment so I could have the appropriate amount available, "I can't do that until the visit is over." Okay, fair enough. I asked her to scan my secondary insurance and she just stared at me until I put my card away. I was focusing on some work before my appointment until I heard disgruntled huffing and puffing a few feet away. I looked up to find her standing in a doorway, directing her huffing and puffing at me, "well, come in here and I'll do the pre-exam." Her tone took me by surprise but I gathered my things and went along into the room after her. After my appointment with Dr. Palmer, I went to the desk to pay and once again asked her to scan my secondary insurance. "People over a certain age don't have vision coverage through that insurance." I explained that the plan I have does in fact have vision coverage to which she replied, "well even if you do, it wouldn't cover a contact fitting. That's considered cosmetic and not a necessity. So even if I were to scan it, it's not covering anything." Then handed me my card back once again and repeated my total back to me until I scanned my card. These may seem like petty things to be unhappy about but her tone and the look of pure disdain on her face made me feel half an inch tall. I enjoy seeing Dr. Palmer, but the receptionist made my visit absolutely miserable and I don't know that I'll consider returning in the future.

Dr. Palmer is always amazing with all 4 of my children, but that receptionist!!! Lord she had me break character today. She is always snippy with my younger children. Today when she told him to set till or they were never gonna get it done. I stopped her, and explained that he does have attention disorder and part of that is having a hard time focusing his eyes. She was huffy and short. This is an evertime experience. We have been going to the office for years and never had an issue with the last receptionist , but this lady has been there 3 years or so and every phone call or visit has been a bad experience.

Dr. Palmer has always been wonderful. But the receptionist is awful. She is very rude when she answers the phone. I waited over a month to get an appointment, got my new glasses on Friday. Called immediately on Monday morning to say I need a recheck because I cannot see out of them and she stated we are booked till next week. I said I cannot see she said oh well we are booked. Very unprofessional

I spend roughly 2 hours minimum every time I visit, and most of it is spent in the waiting room. It's okay if I need a last minute appointment for contacts, but I always end up waiting much longer than I should. I've had to request for the equipment to be cleaned, since I could see the previous patient's makeup smeared on the eye piece. They happily clean it, though, after I ask. He also never closes the door behind him when leaving the room, which leaves you to awkwardly avoid eye contact with the other patients in the waiting room who happen to be directly in front of your open door. They are nice and friendly, but not the most professional. Edit: upon returning some of the issues before were discussed and fixed. Very happy that they not only reached out, but cared enough to make it a better experience!

I've been seeing Dr. Palmer for several years. He has furnished glasses and contact prescriptions for myself and three members of my family. I had never worn contacts before. Dr. Palmer is the most patient person, he will take whatever time it takes or try ever how many variations and combinations to see that you get the best possible fit. I thought I would never learn to put contacts into my eyes but I have now been wearing them for over three years. His assistant is most helpful with insurance filing and working you in if you need to see the doctor. I would most definitely recommend this eye professional if you need eye care products. He won't insult you or intimidate you in any way and will be certain your eye care needs are met.
