Sandra Duckworth, OD

Dr. Duckworth and her assistant Joe were compassionate and thorough during my recent eye exam in May 2023. I was recently diagnosed with Sjogren's Disease, one symptom of which is dry and burning eyes. Dr. Duckworth set my mind at rest and prescribed an eyedrop. My insurance company did not want to approve the eyedrops, despite Dr. Duckworth's staff and my pharmacy working together for many weeks. A very special person in Dr. Duckworth's office leapt through rings of fire to get my prescription approved. She remained professional and friendly throughout the process. I cannot thank this kind lady enough. Dr. Duckworth is a good eye doctor, and she is just as smart about choosing a fine team to help her patients. Thank you!

She diagnosed that i had hsd a stroke in my eye after i had blackness coming up several nights in a row but thankfully had not lost my eyesight then five years later- this year started hurting on same side as the stroke in top of head- excruciating pain and having trouble with feeling like getting ear infection and also numbness on that side of face- my blood pressure was going up- went to emergency room- ran cat-scan and chest x- ray bloodwork- sent home but said to see primary physician in two days or come back if still in that much pain by Monday better but still in pain snd numbness in face on side I had the stroke in my eye was scaring me- called and went to see her and she diagnosed shingles with ramsey Hunt Syndrome and treated me with Acyclovir and followed up checking my ear and eye for shingles- so thankful for her skills to diagnose and help me and it fit exactly what was happening! Feel like The Lord helped me by having her as my eye doctor

Eye exam was alright. HOWEVER, the lady who works in the office with the frames with short hair and glasses was just very RUDE, UNHELPFUL, and was just flat out UNPROFESSIONAL. She alone made it a terrible first experience. She couldn't care less about the customer (s) and couldn't simply answer a question without being snooty and having an attitude. And couldn't bother to wear a mask but unforced that whoever entered wore one.

This place has the rudest secretary! Each time I've dealt with this office has been an absolute nightmare. They made a mistake and it wouldn't have been a problem if they didn't accuse me of giving Lenscrafter the wrong prescription then rudely hang up on me. Then hung up on me again when I called back asking why they felt the need to hang up. I wouldn't recommend this place ever!!

Dr Duckworth, I shouldn't have to tell you how important the first point of contact is for your business but I will tell you that your's is terrible and just ignorant! What a nightmare your secretary is!

Personable and easy to talk to. Takes the time to explain everything so I understand it. I have confidence in her. Very knowledgeable. Highly recommend
