James and Shaquia were the best today! It's my first time going in awhile and it was fast effortless and professional :) 10/10 I do recommend :D

So many things but I will try and keep it short and to the point. The eye exam was virtual. I went into the exam room and a doctor FaceTimed basically from another country. He rushed me. Didn't even check to see if the final script was accurate. I was kind of clueless and thought it was weird but went with it. I wanted to buy my frames online so I didn't purchase anything further from their store. I bought 2 pairs of progressives online and when they arrived I couldn't see a thing. I couldn't even pretend to see at all, it was like I was wearing a blurry goggle that was all distorted. Turns out, Stanton had my PD as a 69. After some research I realized my PD is a 61. That alone made everything I tried to use completely wrong. I went back up to Stanton and explained what happened and the guy behind the counter and asked if I could get a different sample pack of contacts with the correct PD and he acted like he couldn't do anything because they had cracked down on samples. I explained again, but y'all were wrong. Didn't matter. At that point I gave up. I felt defeated $300 spent online, they won't refund or remake because it took me too long to realize why I couldn't see out of the glasses. I decided to go ahead and get another exam somewhere else. My daughter, they told me she was near sighted in one eye and farsighted in the other. I made her get another exam with me and they said no. She has super dry eyes but her eyes are barely needing any script at all and technically she doesn't even HAVE to get lenses because the script is so minimal. LIKE WHAT!?! Never again. Don't go here. The actual workers inside were nice but apparently not knowledgeable. The new place, took my glasses I was wearing and checked it with their exam.

This was my first visit to Stanton Optical and I couldn't be happier with my experience! I haven't been to the eye doctor in several years so I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised. My associate was Jaimee and she greeted me once I walked into the door, even while she assisted several other customers. She swiftly took me to the back and was very helpful and kind. Her expertise made my entire visit so smooth. I was seen virtually by the optometrist and that was a new experience for me, one that I quite enjoy! The ability to pay via affirm at the end of my appointment helped me tremendously as we are all experiencing financial hardships. Overall, I highly recommend Stanton Optical and I will be returning!

James and Shaquia gave amazing customer service!!!! Although we were walk-ins we received top tier service! Switching over to Stanton Optical has been the best decision I've made for my children and myself!

Today we had an inspected experience in this store. When we arrived, this young gentleman named James was so professional and kind with us. The quality of the attention was high, and show us different options to we could decided the best. Thank you James: because you, consider my wife, my stepdaughter and me loyal costumers. Thank you. They took care of my vision needs and I am so happy to be a loyal customer. I initially took my daughter there and she was so happy I returned to get special Readers for myself! I love them!

I shop in Hurst but was in arlington for the weekend. My frames broke and I was able to get them replaced same day. So thankful this location had the same frame in stock. 12/30/25

I have been wearing glasses since I was seven and this is by far the WORST experience i've ever had. it's been 2 weeks going on three and I have still not gotten my glasses and not to mention the prices are horrible. I would not recommend stanton optical to anyone.
