Last January, I purchased a pair of glasses from a local independent company in Burleson. After paying $600 I struggled with them for nearly 11 months--they never felt quite right and most everything was not in focus. Eventually, my dog chewed the earpieces beyond repair, which forced me to take them back to that eye care company. FORTUNATELY, they told me the glasses couldn't be fixed and that I'd have to buy another pair.
Given my frustration with the whole experience on the initial purchase, I decided to look elsewhere. I read Google reviews and explored my options until I found Visionworks at Southtown Crossing. A few weeks ago, I visited, and a wonderful lady who has worked there for many years helped me select a new pair. She introduced me to a type of bifocal I had never been shown before.
For about the same price, these new glasses have been life-changing--it feels almost like an out-of-body experience. I can read again, I can see clearly again, and the difference is incredible. The key was the proper adjustment, and to top it off, they even repaired my old pair so I now have a backup.
Kudos to Visionworks--excellent service and expertise. I'll definitely be back.
I'm giving American Vision in Burlington one star because it's been two and a half weeks since I ordered my glasses, and they can't tell me when they'll arrive. I was asking about them, but none of the employees had any information. I paid for the glasses in advance, $700. The manager, Cynthia Ortiz, came out and told me I was being rude, but I was only asking for a delivery date because I live an hour and 20 minutes away from the Burlington office. This is the third time I've come here. The general manager treated me very, very badly, telling me that she was the general manager and that I should let her speak because I shouldn't be saying anything, and that I was being rude, which is false. I don't recommend going to that store and spending $700 or $800 on glasses only to be treated so poorly. Nobody wants to drive an hour and 20 minutes just to see if their glasses are ready because they can't even tell you what day they'll arrive. I went to that office, unfortunately, because one of my sons has a business right next door, and he told me to order my glasses there, and I listened to him, but I regret going to that place. The general manager, Cynthia Ortiz, doesn't know how to treat customers; all she knows how to say is "shut up, I'm the general manager." That's why I had to cancel my order and go spend my money somewhere where I'll be treated better and where they can give me a date when my glasses will be ready.
I had a great experience I'm not good with names but Kristy I believe is her name was absolutely amazing! She made the whole process so smooth and she had such a wonderful vibe to her! I definitely recommend this location and they had a wide variety of frames to chose from.
My company has a new contract with Visionworks for our safety glasses. After a week I came back in and had them readjusted cuz they were hurting my left ear really bad and I wore them for another week or so and still the problem persisted. After that they allowed me to pick a new pair of safety glasses and had them made and they work wonderfully great. Thank you Visionworks I am so happy with this set of safety glasses that I have to wear for a 10-hour shift. You guys are great!
I went into the store because one of the arms broke off of my frame that I bought here. I was told they couldn't fix it and that they would give a 25% off of a new frame. The arm spring broke. I did not need a whole new frame. Literally only needed an arm, but as always, they didn't want to help! Done with this place, it's always something. Really the review is about 1/4 of a star.
Dulce is one of the best in the business. Professional, smart, and knowledgeable of her products and services makes it a breeze to shop for an integral part of your life. Definitely coming back to this location, every time glasses are needed for my family of four.
The store is clean, organized, and modern. Very inviting.
Thanks again!
Christie did an excellent job- outstanding customer service. She called my optometrist regarding my prescription because they made an error. She followed back up with me and I was able to place y glasses order. Thank you so much Christi!!
I'm so enjoying my glasses. The techs here were knowledgeable and friendly. It was such a pleasure to do business with them. My tech was actually the one who picked out my frames. When I saw what she had selected, I knew those were the ones. They're the multicolored stained glass looking frames, so gorge . My Dr's prescription was followed exactly, and my glasses fit my face so comfortably. It's nice to see again. I do tiny, tiny cross stitch but I don't need my reader glasses anymore. So it's bye bye readers.
