What a breath of fresh air, I am 76 years old. I have visited numerous eye clinics and doctors in my life. My sisters recommended him. Dr. Lee is a true professional and a remarkable human being with grace, dignity, and humor. His credentials speak for itself. Dr. Lee MD, PhD has vast experience in his practice. To begin with, my first visit to the clinic was an eye opener. All the staff members and nurses were very professional, courteous, and pleasant to interact with. After talking to him for five minutes, I felt comfortable and immediately decided to trust him with my cataract surgery. I was a bit skeptical and not sure about other ophthalmologists I visited. Unfortunately, I found them more of sales people than doctors. My first cataract surgery was done perfectly that I have scheduled for other eye already. If you are looking for a great Doctor and very helpful support staff, don't waste your time, do your own due diligence and seriously consider Dr. Lee's eye clinic.

Dr. Lee is an outstanding cataract surgeon who performed cataract surgery on both my eyes. From start to finish, the entire experience was smooth and professional, with the team thoroughly explaining the process and ensuring I feel comfortable every step of the way. The procedure itself was quick and recovery was fast. I realized that patients need to follow Doctor's instructions very carefully. Thanks Lee Eye Surgery Clinic for a great experience.

I had cataract surgery with Dr. Hsiao in April 2025 and had both lenses replaced. After 3 lense adustments and follow-up appointments, both lenses were locked in early September, a follow-up appointment was made about 2 weeks later, around 9/23/25. I had to cancel that appointment due to some medical issues and when I called back on 12/3/25 to reschedule that follow-up appointment, I am told that that appointment is not considered part of the procedure and that I would have to pay separately, which does not make any sense. I would think that a follow-up appointment that the doctor had scheduled after he locked in my lenses would be covered under the payment plan for the procedure because all of other follow-up appointments before the lenses were locked were covered. I would not recommend this office at all.

Been going to Dr. Hsiao for a blunt trauma injury to my eye from a golf ball. On a recent visit we found my eye was getting worse in terms of increased pressure and retinal bleeding, and with how concerned it was to hear and see that, I tried to think out loud to him on what happened since last appointment and last month up until that visit that warranted my eye getting worse. In this process of me trying to think out loud, he made me feel extremely insulted and stupid by asking me why I was thinking these things and I'm just "making it up." This was really off putting to me and made my mood after hearing the news of my eye getting worse already put me down, not to mention there are still so many blurred lines on why my eye isn't improving. Do not recommend, especially after my experience resulting in me coming out feeling insulted and discouraged.

I have been seeing Dr. Lee for 2 years. He performed cataract removal and vision correction. He and all staff have been very polite, courteous and caring. Thank You Dr. Lee and All Staff.

My vision was getting worse, went to see Dr. Hsiao two times. I chose him because we are from same country and speak the same language. He implied I might have brain tumor and sent me to get MRI. The MRI result was fine. Went to see two different Ophthalmologists and one optometrist, they said I only needed was cataract surgery. Never went back to him anymore.

My dad can be a little nervous at doctor visits, but Dr Hsiao was so kind and patient with him. He explained everything clearly, took his time, and made sure we felt comfortable the whole way through!

This review has been a long time coming. I have been a patient of Dr. Hsiao's for years. From the beginning, he has been helpful for the care of my eyes. When other doctors would not take the insurance I had, Dr. Hsiao did. When my eyesight reached a critical point, he helped me find the one doctor in the specialty my eyes needed, who would accept my insurance, and that doctor was kind and helpful, too. But it was Dr. Hsiao who tried to save my eyesight and who restored the eyesight I had remaining. One thing led to another. When the sight in one of my eyes went blurred I went to another eye care specialist who I trusted, and who cared enough to find what the problem was. Because they are not a M.D., they referred me back to Dr. Hsiao who, once again, has restored my remaining eyesight. Thank you, Dr. Hsiao! :-)
