They are absolutely top quality. I usually talk to Jeff or Sandra, and they are both very knowledgeable and friendly. They also take the time to help fit your new glasses to your face so they are really comfortable. I highly recommend. Only thing to know is that they are not the cheapest place in town to get glasses. But remember, you get what you pay for!

We've been getting glasses there for 10 yrs - a hidden gem in the burbs. Top quality frames/lenses - George can even do custom shapes like the state of Texas! George & Sandra have many yrs of experience, and Sandra can pick out frames that you will love. She is like a designer when it comes to faces & frames - she makes it easy. The selection is OUTSTANDING - so many different styles, & the more you buy, the better the discount. I have replaced lenses in 1 pr of sunglasses now 3 times, in 10 yrs. Once you see their selection, quality, & warranty, you will be glad you chose D.E.Y.!

Man, I can relate to the lady that posted about her Dad's glasses slipping. My old ones were so heavy, always sliding down my nose and hurting my ears. Sandra helped me with the lightest glasses I've ever had. They are rimless glasses, I hardly know I'm wearing them. The entire staff is super nice and knowledgeable about their products. I'll definitely be recommending and returning myself.

I have been to many optical boutiques in my life and I have never experienced a more professional group of people. Their selection was unique to what you would find in other shops. The young lady that helped me (I believe her name was Sandra) was extremely knowledgeable and quite a perfectionist. George (I think the owner) even checked to make sure I was pleased with the service. I will definitely tell all my friends and go back myself.

First visit at DEY this weekend in Cypress. Sandra is awesome and did a great job of providing options, explained everything in good detail, and helped me pick out the perfect prescription sunglasses. Won't go anywhere else again. Highly recommend!

High prices and the optometrist is incredibly condescending. My dad bought a pair of glasses here recently and they rubbed the skin behind his ear raw and also slid down constantly. The optometrist spent several minutes lecturing us on the fact that we had to choose between tightness behind the ears or forward slippage. He also gave us a sales pitch for a lighter set of frames. We eventually got the glasses adjusted, but we'll definitely be going elsewhere for our next glasses.

This place had Silhouettes on sale for $250 as opposed to $375-$400 at my usual place. And because it was "out of network" they gave me another $50 off. I paid $400 total but submitted a form to my insurance company and was reimbursed $160. They also have a nice selection of sunglasses, different from what you'd see at a sunglass hut. I have trouble finding frames that fit my face right and it seemed like everything I tried on fit perfectly. I had to get the hell outta there! I can't remember the lady's name who helped my but she was very sweet and helpful, not pushy or obnoxious like some of the places I've been. Definitely worth checking out the selection.
