First time patient, typical first time paper work. Then surprise, very quickly called for the visit. Everyone from the receptionist on was super friendly and caring. They were sincerely concerned and reassuring about my eye problem. Dr. Porias was wonderful, he took his time, I felt like I was an old friend. I got excellent health care. Honestly, kinda looking forward to my next eye exam.

The young lady at the front office was very helpful, we arrived 10 minutes before our scheduled time and were immediately taken to the back to start the eye exam. The Doctors' Assistant was very thorough and naturally cared about our questions and concerns. Dr. Porias also showed genuine care, explained the exam findings and after completing his own examination he let us know what was next and answered our questions. We will continue to visit Dr. Porias' office because they have great service and truly care.

I went to Houston Eye Associates to see Dr. Hyde today. It was fabulous! Staff was professional and very helpful in every aspect. Dr. Hyde took time with me and answered all my questions. This really helped my nerves! The whole experience was awesome!! If your looking for a great experience then Dr. Hyde is who you should see!!

Very nice staff and doctor, it was my first visit. I felt comfortable and well taken care of. Thank you. Today 6-1-20. My second visit, went as well as first. New tech Leah is confident and friendly. I'm comfortable here, they are nice and dr. Porias is not in a hurry and explains things to you. I am confident in his experience and that he will do my cataract surgery. Thank you

I recommend Houston Eye Associates to my friends and anyone who needs an eye dr or ophthalmologist. Dr. Victor Chang is excellent. He is patient and compassionate and explains any issue. I am sure all the associates are like Dr. Chang. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. Professionalism is important. They have it together. Thank you all for caring. God bless you all.

This office is very attentive to their patients. They made a lady in front of me- new patient comfortable. It was obvious she was anxious as her doctors office had not sent the necessary paper work over. She was reassured that she has plenty of time. She was in a wheel chair & needed additional assistance. My experience was good & the Doctor Porias was very thorough with his examination & explanation.

I was promptly taken back to the examination room. The technician was friendly and professional. The physician was friendly and addressed all my questions. He recommended addition testing and referred me to another specialist to help to develop a more comprehensive diagnosis. I would recommend Houston Eye Association for your vision needs.

They scratched one of my progressive lenses. I'm 100% certain I didn't do it. But since I couldn't prove it, they chose to do nothing about it. If you can't trust them with a pair of glasses worth $100's, how can you trust them with your eyes? So I chose to no longer be a patient, provide no referrals, and post this review. Media is powerful and I will be sure to use it so others don't have to go through a similar experience. There are a lot of ophthalmologists in the Houston area. I suggest using another practice. They may be the largest practice in Texas, but it doesn't mean they are the best. Don't believe everything you read on their website. They've lost my optometry business as well.
