Memorial Eye Center - Barker Cypress

I highly recommend this location. The ophthalmologist and optometrists are really great. They've been doing my eye care since 2020 and, so far, they've been I have no complaints. Thourough eye exams, lots of frame choices, great assistance when picking and adjusting your frames, and they want you to call them if you have any issues with your new glasses.

I understand there's liability concerns, but all I did was mention that I had prism history, I do not use prisms and I do not need prisms. I got prisms just for exercise purposes but all I needed was a simple prescription, nothing related to my previous history. I made that clear. I simply wanted corrective lenses for my eyes. Again I understand your concern over liability issues but there was a huge lack of trying to work with me. I was simply told I couldn't be helped and to go to a vision therapy center down the street (which charges $250 for a consultation by the way). And I told the Dr. numerous times I had already been there before. I feel like there weren't any questions to try and get clarification for the purpose of my visit and every time I tried to explain, I was met with "we just don't do that here". Like, you don't do eye exams here??? What? The extra star is for maintaining some professionalism and front desk being so nice.

I am changing my 1 star Review to 4 stars. I typically don't leave reviews but I felt some staff have made a difference for the change. First and foremost Dr. Nguyen is new. And he made a difference for me to stay because I had to book a last minute appointment at this facility and was planning to part my ways in 2026.. I will follow him where he goes. Alexis and Amanda made the same difference for me in my experience that they have gone above and beyond. Alexis has treated my Dad as if he was her own Dad. Thank you. Front staff is showing improvement from my last review and concerns hence only four stars for now. - Bobby

Dr. Anthony was very helpful and informative on the difference glasses make since I have pretty good vision not pressuring me to get em but I did. Brittany was amazing explaining pricing and add on's . Will definitely come back great serve !

Thank you so much to Amanda for her help with my glasses. When the bridge and nose pads were bent, she was able to fix them and truly save my glasses! I really appreciate her help and will definitely be coming back soon to purchase my new glasses.

I was in for my first visit today with Dr. Meeks. From the minute I walked into the office I was greeted with smiles. The staff spent time talking to me and they were very welcoming. They have great personalities and I felt like I had been with this practice for years! I'm a practice manager and patient experience is top on my important list. This group gave a great experience! Absolutely recommend this practice!

All around solid experience from scheduling my appointment to answering my questions painless intake experience and rapid progress through my appointment. The entire staff was friendly and professional. Just an all around pleasant experience.

The staff made the experience feel welcoming and gave me a better understanding of eye health. Getting glass is something I didn't think I would need necessarily but im glad I have them! I would recommend them to anyone who needs eye correction assistance or anyone that is looking to transfer clinics!
