The staff there is extremely professional and personable. Everyone is very welcoming. The doctor was very professional, and explained everything. Very likeable and personable. I believe her name was Dr. Stiles. They have a great selection of eyewear, too. We will definitely be going back. Thank you TSO for great Customer Service and a great doctor.

I would like to add on to my review of Dr. Hatridge that I gave 9 months ago. This is based on a more recent visit and it shows how the trust in a good doctor brings you result that can potentially change lives. A few weeks ago on a Friday morning, my husband told me he had a lot of a floaters all of a sudden in his left eye and it was uncomfortable. I asked him if he saw flashes in that eye and he said yes. My heart sank because it sounded like retina problems. Immediately I called Texas State Optical Cypress requesting an urgent visit for my husband to see Dr. Hatridge. I called at 9am and we got in at 10am. After several machine tests and a thorough examination, Dr. Hatridge told my husband this: You have tears on your retina and I am going to refer you to a retina specialist for treatment. He also said he was glad we saw him that Friday morning so that his office could make sure to schedule for us to see a specialist that afternoon. Long story short, we followed the instructions his office gave us and saw a retina specialist at Houston Retina Consultants on that Friday afternoon. My husband ended up having laser treatment to seal the two tears on his retina to prevent a possible retina detachment. Now after two follow-ups, my husband is back to his golf and all daily activities. The retina doctor we saw is also top-notch. Thanks to Dr. Hatridge and Texas State Optical Cypress, my husband had his eye saved in the most timely and professional manner. We cannot say enough how much we appreciate him and this office!

We've used TSO cypress for 8+ years now. I trust them 100% they're efficient on time management. They saw all 4 of us with 2 of us getting contact prescription and 1 getting glasses we were out in 1hr and 15 mins. Dr. Hatridge is always our favorite and so much patience.

Great experience from the time I walked in the door. Waiting time was very minimal and friendly. Explanation of every test was given with clarity. At the end of it the young lady who helped me with my lenses and check out had such a beautiful attention to ensure my glasses would come out correct. I missed a year but I am glad to be back!!!

I started going here when I was new to the area. Since then, we've moved farther away. Now, it's about a half-hour drive, but I can't bring myself to find a place closer because the staff here are so phenomenal. I'd had a call-to-make-an-appointment task on my checklist forever, and it kept slipping away from me. Then, *they* called *me* (can you believe it?!), saying that I was overdue for an appointment and would I like to make one? Yes. Yes, please. And by the way, thank you SO much for calling and helping me get that taken care of. The staff there are just amazing: professional, polite and welcoming. Dr. Hatridge is, even though I don't see him often, one of the most tuned-in medical professionals I've ever worked with. He really knows his stuff. But what I like most about him is that he has always seemed genuinely excited to talk about optometry. For example, when he's reviewing my results and I ask him about what something means, I can almost feel his enthusiasm buzzing when he breaks it down into terms I can understand. He's a true professional, puts me at ease (which is difficult for me when it comes to doctors) and doesn't rush through things. A rare optical unicorn, he is. The woman who helped me find my new glasses was also a pure delight. She told me her name, and I even spoke it, but I'm the worst when it comes to that and have unfortunately forgotten it. It started with an M: Maria, Marsha... I'm almost there, but I just can't remember. She. Was. Brilliant! She was so very patient with me while she walked me through the numbers (another thing I'm very much not good at) of my out-of-pocket cost. And ditto when it came to finding my frames. She was super honest when I tried on a pair that didn't work for me - and when it comes to something that's going to be on my face a lot, that honesty is very important to me. All in all, I've had years of excellent service here; so much so that I'm still willing to make the drive when I have other providers closeby. Do your eyes a clarity and go visit these optical pros.

This place sucks and they seem incompetent. Be wary of the 4.9s, I'm beginning to realize they are paid for and in reality they suck. I brought my 8 year old daughter here for an appt. The assistant brought us in the back to start the exam. He was noticeably sick, coughing and sounded very congested. He was testing my daughter and moved closer to do the color blind test. I then asked him if he was sick, he admitted he did feel kind of sick. I said please get me someone else and became angry. I then told the next lady that came and then the Asian doctor who did her exam. The doctor stated she didn't know he was sick. I stayed about an hour more and he was still there, they didn't care. My daughter and her mom went back to pick up her glasses and tried to make an appt with the doctor. They said they didn't have the insurance even though we just ordered her glasses through our insurance. They asked for a health insurance card which I've never had to provide or received from the eye insurance company . They just look it up and can show you have it everywhere else. They super super suck!!!

Monica has been the greatest help with picking our glasses. She is so informative and patient. We love Dr Nguyen as well and we'll never go anywhere else! Y'all are the best!

The staff was friendly and customer service was awesome. Shout out to Monica and Katsie for providing excellent customer service in ordering n selecting eye frames. Both very knowledgeable and my family will definitely be going back for any of my eye services.
