Dr. Dennis J. Reiter, DO

Have been going here for years, since 2000. Needless to say that Dr. Reiter tended to me back then and because of all he helped me thru after my accident. I have continued to go here. The staff which has changed has always been very thorough and polite. Things are explained to you in lingo you will understand. They work with you in scheduling your appointment. I am very thankful to Dr. Reiter for helping me regain not only my eyesight but that I looked normal again. Words cannot express my gratitude.

If I could give a 0 I would. I had an appointment next week with this Dr and the front office wanted to collect over $150 fee toward my deductible for my 1st upcoming office visit (consult/diagnosis)! My office visit is 20-40 dollars for spec visit and any additional fees are quoted at the visit. What the heck is wrong with this place. Ummmm no you have not even seen me yet and therefore u have no right charging $ of my ins deductible until diagnosis and fee info to me as the patient! This is the problem with these doctors trying to make a buck before a consultation has even happened !!!

I first met Dr.Reiter on 11/16/22 I had been referred to him for my droopy eyelid during exam first thing he said was since I was Asian there was not much he could do I explained they I was Mexican Hispanic he kept arguing that no I was definitely Asian I should have left then he continued to say that I had a slight infection small patch on my left eyelid he prescribed steroid cream well in 2 days both eyelids were totally red swollen and itchy I called his office but no one answered. Left repeated messages to tell them of my reaction I then called office again finally got another appointment he was mad because I was complaining that they had not called me back so without telling me he left exam room came back in and slathered my eyes with another ointment He was so rude very unprofessional , but unfortunately as bad as he treated me you should of seen how he treats the elderly no compassion no caring you are just another body that comes into his office. Finally I was able to see my dermatologist who right away took me off of his prescribed steroids and started me on other medications to deal with my swollen red itchy blotchy eyelids it is now 1/23 getting better but still dealing with my bad decision I should of never went to see him and most of all when he started insisting I was Asian and that's why I pretty much had to deal with my droopy eyelids I should have said Hasta La Vista Baby!! I truly hope this review keeps someone else from being mistreated by this doctor.

My husband and I switched to Dr Reiter about three years ago and have been very pleased with the quality of care we receive by him as well as his staff. He is always thorough during his exams unlike our previous doctor and we appreciate his direct approach especially when it comes to my husband getting his diabetes under control. I am looking forward to having him remove my cataracts this year.

This Doctor was highly referred to us. He told us that a lens would help my 90 yr old mother see better, we payed $1,600 dlls. It didn't work, now she can't see anything at all. Before the lens she could see a little bit. And now he wants to do another surgery for her other eye that has cataracts. I'm going to get a second opinion, the other issue is that every visit with this doctor it takes 3 to 4 hours. They should take into consideration that the elderly shouldn't be subjected to sit and wait that many hours. It's ridiculous to wait that long at any doctor's visit. It takes 2 or 4 phone calls before they answer the phone, It's frustrating. I believe the Staff isn't efficient and they need significant training for the benefit of the patients and the business. Because I would Definitely NOT recommend this business.

Sister made an appointment for my father three months ago for an appointment in March. Called to confirm appointment and they could not find an appointment for him. Wanted to reschedule for another appointment over a month, did not issue any apologies and were very passive aggressive about the situation and offered to "call" if another spot would be open. They did absolutely nothing to try and get him in on or around his original appointment date. Decided it was best to take him to another doctor which scheduled us much sooner and confirmed his appointment. Please look anywhere else before you book with them if you can avoid it.

Horrible customer service. I should have listened to the reviews posted here. I scheduled an appointment and had several, and I mean many text messages reminding me about the appointment, even a few hours before going in. I even moved my work schedule and used some of my PTO, and when I got there, no vehicles in sight and the place was closed. I texted the number and they "forgot" to tell me the doctor left as an emergency. I understand emergencies happen, but the useless staff should have told me so I wouldn't waste my time and gas. NEVER going there. And just like with the other reviews, they're probably going to apologize to me like they did through text as well. Yeah right, like they care.

Antonia Lopez; This is the first time I go see a TED(thyroid eye Dr). And I was very impressed with Dr Reiter, and his staff. He asked me for my Drs blood test and he even checked my thyroid and told me that my thyroid was Been controlled. The staff is very courteous and professional. He explained my situation step by step
