Dr. Paul Pholvichitr has been our family's trusted optometrist in El Paso for over a decade! He's been caring for my daughters' vision since they were in elementary school, and now they're teenagers - that speaks volumes about the quality of care and trust we have in his practice. Best and most caring eye doctor I've ever visited. I've been coming here for more than 5 years now.

The doctor was rude with me. He got upset because I couldn't read the little letters from the seat I was in. He says, "you can't read that? You can't see that it's a "R"??? You need to try harder!" Like really??? How the hell am I supposed to try harder to see clearer? My eyes see how they see. And that's why i was there, for new glasses to see better. I walked out. I will not be talked to like that. An ophthalmologist shouldn't get upset at the patient if they can't see well. Isn't their job to figure out how to help the patient to see better? I'm not there to be talked down to or insulted about my poor eyesight. I will never go back to this one!

I along with my wife and son would visit this office for years but not any more. Dr Pholvichitr is quite frankly one of the worst behaved optometrist in the city. He rushes people in what seems like an attempt to get as many patient in and out the door and thus more claims they can file. I had recommend my mother to go to him for a yearly eye exam. Not only was he rushing her during the exam despite being asked to slow down a bit but at one point said that my mother was "slow to move" when changed rooms to get the cornea picture. Unacceptable behavior from a "Doctor". He also completely messed up her prescription. When we had her glasses made, her vision was worse off with the new glasses. We had a follow up appointment to determine what was wrong and Pholvichitr refused to do another exam and blamed it on "cheaply made glasses". He belittled my mother making it seem like it was her fault for buying "cheap" glasses that she couldn't see properly. He changed the prescription without ever running another exam. When I heard about this I was furious and called down to the office personally to explain the situation about his behavior and completely unacceptable professionalism. You'll notice this isn't the only review about his behavior. I demanded they remove the insurance claim so that we can go with another doctor. After a back and forth battle, the claim was eventually removed. The prescription, after being seen by a competent optometrist, was completely changed from what Pholvichitr prescribed. DO NOT GO TO PHOLVICHITR EYE CARE!

While it may seem a little crazy in the office, with being moved from one seat to another. I truly enjoy the staff and Doctor. My family has been going to Dr. Paul for almost 3 years now. The guy in the eye glass section is very helpful and have helped my teens and husband pick a style all their own. For me the wait isn't long. Last visit was about 45 mins for me and my husband. In the 45 mins we each had an eye exam, contact fitting, our eyes dilated, and we purchased new glasses for my husband.

Is just amazing with the age and position we want everything our way. I always having good experiences, but some clients are so rude and overpass the limits and procedures. Sorry!! but you better schedule your appointment and check your insurance benefits and don't blame the staff!!!

It's unfortunate that the RUDE ladies in front ruin it for the amazing doctor. Been going to him since his old office, and the same ladies just get more rude. Complacency are its finest. They should try smiling or faking a happy attitude, little do they know patients make fun of them...

I've been going there for about 3 years and I feel so comfortable with the doctor, and especially the staff at the section where they help and order glasses. I've established a personal relationship and keep recommending and coming here because of the staff who help pick my glasses..
