Family Eye Care

The doctor is nice enough, but the front desk staff is consistently incompetent. They make the process unnecessarily difficult for no reason. 10/10 would not recommend.

Took my son on Saturday and the service was great. My son has severe autism and is non verbal. He uses a communication device to communicate. They were so patient with him and very understanding. They explained what each machine was for and what he would see in each machine. Dr. Pinedo was great with him .

I went to go get an eye exam at this place and I paid the eye exam. They didn't get the prescription correct whenever I got my glasses three weeks later. They advised me to see the doctor again so that I can get another I exam and have the prescription corrected but they wanted to charge me again for the exam when they didn't get it right the first time. They took another. they took another month to get back to me with my glasses, and when I went to go pick them up, the prescription was wrong again. I had already paid for my glasses and I gave them one last chance to get the prescription correct and they got the prescription wrong again. I went in in March and till now July I have not received any notification from them. or have had this issue corrected in good faith by this clinic. They have kept my money and they will not refund me even if they didn't get my prescription correct nor I have ever received my glasses. This is theft. Do not go in there for your uncle good. I will be seeking a small claims court lawsuit against them. I'm hoping they will call me and make things right before it escalates to this but I doubt It because from day one they have been very incompetent. The Better Business Bureau should not even let them operate, and this facility should be closed down.

I wish I had better review, I took my mom in for her eye wear, she was made fun of because of her accent and was told by Andrea she needed to explain herself better. When asked to speak to a manager Andrea rolled her eyes and said she'd let the manager know and that we'd get a call. Never did. Afterwards my mothers number was blocked and having to go in person was much worse, all this and my insurance was still billed and no product was given.

I have been here a couple of times and have not have any issues. The place is really clean, even before covid the place was spot on. The lady in the front desk always has a smile on and is very welcoming she also works with our schedule when we schedule an appointment. The doctor has always taken the time to check my son's eyes along with the assistants. They also have a great selection of glasses and the lady who is in the optical I believe it's Mrs. Maria has been amazing and incredibly patient with my son who takes his time to pick his new pair of glasses. Will definitely be coming back for his yearly check up.

Had a bad experience and came to leave a bad review to warn others, but there already so many, lol. My entire family and extended family comes her for exams, but we never get glasses here. My daughter had an exam and we decided to get glasses here as well. As soon as she put them on she noticed the left lens was way off and the right one was correct. We told the receptionist and wanted to leave them there to get redone, but she told me we would have to reschedule an exam for that. She advised we take them and try them to see if they adjust. We didn't want to but they were about to close and we were left no choice. When we returned they wanted to charge us again for an exam even though THEY were the ones they got the prescription wrong. All of my family will be taking our business elsewhere and we suggest you do too.

I saw Dr. Buentello, he was very attentive and helped me figure outmy vision needs. He understood my dilemma and put forth a plan to help me get back to seeing while also taking into consideration my medical history. I'm very appreciative for that because no other optometrist nor ophthalmologist has taken the time to help me! I still have to wait for a trial period to see if my issues will resolve...so updates coming! But without those definite answers...I still felt heard! Thank you Dr. Buentello!

Highly recommend! Doctor was fast and informative, staff was extremely friendly and helpful! Especially the ladies helping pick out which frames and lenses would better fit me!! Already recommended to family !
