The Dr is great. The staff on the other hand, has 2 faces. Be leary and pay attention to the charges. They'll deny all responsibility if they mess up, and expect you to clean up their mess to cover themselves. Even to the point of bold face lies. It's a shame because the Dr really cares about his patients. I wonder if he knows how the patients are treated by the staff and upper management if a problem arises.

Doctor are great, staff is great, expect to be there at least 2 hours. They are always running late. Doctor Gallardos patients.

My mother recently had cataract surgery, and while Dr. Gallardo was outstanding, the experience with his staff left much to be desired. Scheduling the surgery was extremely frustrating. The surgical coordinator and technicians were difficult to reach, often not answering calls or responding to voicemails. We had to reschedule the surgery twice because the coordinator failed to acknowledge our confirmation messages. It took numerous calls and follow-ups to finalize the appointment. Based on this experience, I recommend avoiding voicemails altogether--speak to someone in person or call the front desk and request immediate assistance. Unfortunately, several staff members exhibited poor attitudes, making the environment uncomfortable for both my mother and me. While Nurse Joanna went above and beyond to assist, another nurse was dismissive and clearly disengaged, projecting a lack of professionalism. On the other hand, Dr. Gallardo was exceptional. He took his time with my mother, explained her treatment options thoroughly in both English and Spanish, and always maintained a professional yet warm demeanor. His care and attentiveness were truly commendable. It's disappointing that such a skilled and caring doctor is let down by staff who are not on the same level. I strongly suggest the practice consider either improving staff training or hiring new team members to create a more supportive and efficient patient experience.

Sorry I got cut but I went to your clinic to ask if my mom was still in surgery but you 2 "front desk assistants" told me that she was there when actually was not, and actually I went to ask for information but I didn't cause both front desk assistant were having a very nice conversation nothing related to the job and talking so fast that can't even understand so I decide to leave I was trying to get info related to what other work you do there, like did you do full eye exams,like regular exams? If you are on the network to see if my insurance help me,if I decide to go and ask you for help for an appointment,how much it cost per visit? I send and email before referring my issues with my eyes but never get an answer, but seeing your front desk assistants attitude I am thinking about it, and I was wondering if you can answer back to me please , my mom was so happy being in your clinic she recommended to me.Thank you my name is Maria Sosa-Zanetta

I was assigned to Mesa office, then they shut down, I asked to be sent to Golden Key office. I was forced to go to sunland park, instead. The staff is a hit and miss, sometimes friendly, most often rude staff. I know better, but I just deal with it, due to VA. My latest appointment was in May, I asked for my refills, I haven't received my meds. I call, no one answers, I leave messages, no one calls me back. I called again, this morning, front desk answered, told me she's going to transfer me to prescription, they hung up on me. I called back to front desk, different person answered, a rude person, I explained about no one answered, she said, " they're busy, give me me your name and DOB" I did.... AND SHE HUNG UP ON ME, AGAIN!!!!! This staff gives "how dare you bother me" attitude! Quit!!! So, people that want to work can apply.

I recently visited El Paso Eye Surgeons as a walk-in patient with an emergency and was met with a packed waiting room. Despite not having an appointment, the receptionist was incredibly kind and patient. She explained that I could either wait a few hours or return at the end of the shift. I chose to come back later, and I was truly amazed by the kindness and attentive care I received. Even though their shift had ended an hour earlier, Dr. Gallardo, Dr. Gray , the techs and staff took the time to assist me with the same level of professionalism and compassion as if it were the start of their day.

Dr. Gallardo is an immensely talented eye surgeon/doctor. He explains the procedure you are to receive and makes sure you are comfortable and at ease. I was very fearful of anything getting close to my eyes. But Dr Gallardo made me comfortable and my surgery went very well. Follow up care went well. His staff is very nice and there is very little wait time. God bless Dr Gallardo!!
