This doctor I recommend with full confidence as he worked patiently with my autistic son who is like wrestling an alligator(sorry for the vivid but true comparison). He corrected a chalazion that an optomologist wanted to do surgery, his option was an eye ointment. I would return to this doctor for the care and treatment of all my kids! He was patient and very direct with me as he knew how my son was being very difficult while not staying still and he worked with me on checking him by telling me what we needed to do to finish the visit. He suggested an ointment to correct his chalazion. Only took two days to go away with ointment. (Look at my review for Dr. Violeta Radenovich 'children's eye center') Thank you dr Dzubey!

I have been seeing Dr. Dzubey for well over 10 years and he is a wonderful doctor, never rushes you, answers all your questions, and does NOT push you into buying glasses if they are not really needed. He also treats dry eye or other medical eye issues, but you need to make a separate MEDICAL appointment for those kind of issues rather than an eye exam for glasses or contacts (using your medical insurance, not eye -care insurance). Hope you find this review helpful as most reviews do not give people the information they may need to make a decision. Oh, and be aware of parking issues though as it is limited at the building his office is in; across from Basset Mall, corner of Chelsea Street and Gateway West access road. I typically park across the street in mall parking lot as that is easier than trying to find a spot at the actual office building.

He's such an amazing sweet doctor! Highly recommend! I went to go see him when I was pregnant and he made sure I was comfortable the entire time.

I scheduled what I thought was an eye exam. I was informed on the day of the appt, it would be medical exam first, then schedule the eye exam. Waste of my time, I will have to search for another Optometrist, hopefully will have an opening before Xmas or in January. I have been without my glasses since early Nov. Why do some doctors schedule patients for two sessions instead of one. The sign in sheet was blank, no other patient. Why couldn't the eye exam be performed on the first session? Is he trying to milk an additional copay? Just made an eye exam appt with another Optometrist next week....very lucky. They are listed with VSP and they accept Care Crdit for the glasses.

Excellent. Been taking both of my son's since they were in elementary school. Short wait time, always a pleasant experience

He was very informative and friendly. He didn't rush you out the door. And his staff is very polite and helpful.
