Kevin L. Clark, O.D. & Associates

I genuinely like Dr. Clark as a doctor. He's very kind, professional, and takes the time to make you feel comfortable during appointments. I also don't have any real issues with the front office staff; they've never been rude or unprofessional to me. That said, the overall office experience has been very frustrating. The phone is rarely, if ever, answered. I've been calling repeatedly for weeks trying to get my prescription with no success. When I do come in person, I usually end up waiting at least 40 minutes past my appointment time. The office itself is also tiny and cramped, making the long waits even more uncomfortable. It's disappointing because I really do like the doctor, but the lack of communication and long delays have made it too difficult to continue. Because of this, I've decided to look for a different doctor.

Veronica from the front desk refused to set up my appointment for a day because they were pretty busy with the patients currently there, and setting up my appointment would take about 10 minutes of her time. I've been going there for years and that had never happened to me before, might be time to find a new place. The doctor is really nice but with that kind of customer service and front desk not worth it.

Friendly front desk. Dr was very nice and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain everything he was doing. Only place we called that wasn't booked out for months. We were seen in a timely manner.

I went today because I was not gonna follow through with contacts. I asked if there is a refund or how it works. The lady name Aracely was very rude and I asked to speak to the doctor. She pretty much ignored me very rude. I've been going there for years, I don't recommend it with that kind of customer service. The minute asked for a refund. She got very defensive and even talked down to me and her tone of voice. She told me in a rude way just call your insurance. You've already been billed. And then she mumbled you're not getting a refund. Very unprofessional could've been handled way better. I will not be returning there, even though the doctor provides good work and I've been going for years due to the people he has working for him. I will not return.

Be prepared to wait 30-50 minutes after your appointment time before the doctor sees you, even having the first appointment of the day, they will make you wait without the doctor even being at the office most of the time.

I've been going to Dr. Clark for more than 20 years. I have followed him to three different locations. He prescribes bifocal contacts and always works with me to get them just right. The prescription he gave me for regular glasses was much better than one I got from an ophamologist. His staff is friendly and helpful. I appreciate all for maintaining a professional friendly office.

I had to cancel my appointment because I just couldn't make it due to my work schedule. I had another location that had the availability that I was looking for. I had an issue using my insurance at that location, so I had to pay $85 out of pocket. The reason I had to do that was because I had my wife call Kevin L Clark to have them cancel my appointment because I was not available to call them during their working hours. She called them the first time, and according to her, the woman she first talked to seemed kind of rude. My wife asked her to cancel the appointment because I couldn't go due to my work schedule. The woman went ahead and said my appointment had been canceled. My wife called the location that was ready to take me in over the weekend, El Paso West Eyecare, who I highly recommend. Amazing, friendly, and fast service. She set my appointment up with them. They couldn't use my insurance because it was showing El Paso West Eyecare that I was still booked (even up til now) with Kevin L Clark. My wife called again, explaining to the first woman she spoke to at Kevin Clark the issue. My wife has called Kevin L Clark 3 times, and they didn't cancel my appointment. Why say something has been done and clearly it hasn't. This kind of unprofessionalism, I can never be ok with.
