LASIK, Cornea & Cataract Specialty Center

I called this office 11x times aug-nov 2025, spent over 10hrs on hold or talking to Rocio or one of her staff in surgery. I spent 16hrs driving, 4 days, hotel visits, of my time to find out Rocio lied to me about the cost of RLE surgery, never once did I say cataract surgery & also corrected her 3x when she made that mistake on calls with me. I have been researching RLE surgery calling multiple places starting in August, 2025, finally determining that LASIK, cornea & cataract specialists was the best price in El Paso. I told her I was comparing prices & needed to know what the all in costs were for the surgery. She consistently told me the same price in 5 notes I have from her. I have quotes for 4x other offices & they all clearly understood me & provided the "all in" price. I think she did not care & simply wanted me to waste my time with appointments to book more business. Wasting time on phone calls was a waste of her time you see, booking a visit & taking my money is a better use of her time. Its a shame because Dr. Mario Di Pascuale is great, I want others to be very careful when dealing with Rocio, she does not care to spend the time unless its on her schedule. Update: The response from the rest of Dr. Mario Di Pascuale's administrative staff has been amazing to say the least. They called me, apologized, went above & beyond to take care of this misunderstanding. I am leaving my original post above but edited for duration. My review is now changed to a 5 star review because this situation was resolved thoroughly & completely. I recommend you double check what you hear when researching, but the service is 5 star & a great experience in the end. Dr Di Pascuale has amazing bedside manner & that is extreme valuable with any surgery you get.

I was examined by Dr. DePascual last month. Informed me my cataracts were ready to be removed. When I mentioned our move to Mansfield Tx in late February, he informed me it be best if I waited to get the procedure in Dallas.given he would not be able to follow up. Appreciated the honesty putting patient ahead of $$.

I have been a patient here for several years because of the excellent service and care. I rate it low because of the awful waiting! Every time I have made an appointment and I have never been called in within minutes of my appointed time! I have always had to sit and wait for 45 minutes to an hour to be seen! I am tempted to look elsewhere just because of the waiting process.

Great staff, but been here 3hours for them to say, there's no change to your vision. "But you can look at some more glasses ", they're after the insurance $. This isn't the first time we've waited more than 3 hours for nothing. The scheduling and time management need to be fixed.

Went on 20 September for regular checkup and had a great experience with Marc and Claudia. Marc was very receptive and answered all questions that I had and was easy to talk to, Claudia was very helpful with all information regarding prescriptions. Thank you.
