Sam's Club Optical Center

On 9/27/2025 at approximately 5:30pm I went to check on a warranty on my glasses, the young lady that was working there was not very friendly and was not helpful at all. She only gave me the paperwork to submit a claim but didn't give a lot of explanation on how to actually do it. While I was talking to her some other customer interrupted and then the young lady started helping the other customer and left me sitting there. Very frustrating. When I've used Sam's Optical in the past they were extremely knowledgeable and helpful.

Asked the worker Sophia to tighten my wives glasses due to the other pair being extremely Loose on her head, the worker went back, pretended to tighten them then gave them back to me. We asked her this to save time and not have to go back so soon and for my wife to be able to use her glasses today but obviously they dont fit. My wife was right and the glasses fit extremely loose still, extremely infuriating that as a customer your denying me the service that ia offered and now i have to waste time to come back again when she couldve listen to the customer who paid the fee.

My review is for customer service. I brought in my prescription since they do not have an optometrist on site. My glasses with progressive lenses were ordered and I picked them up. I returned them the next day. I told the associate that I was returning the glasses. She stated that I had just picked them up the day before and that I needed to give it time so that I get used to them. She spoke of how I needed to wear them longer and so on on so forth. She refunded my money. She continuously looked at me with disappointment. Now, the reason for a 1 star is because throughout the transaction she never asked if there was anything wrong with the glasses. The pupil distance was off. I had to turn to the left so I could read with my right eye and to the right so I could kind of see with my left eye. After my money was returned, she asked if I wanted a single vision or bifocals. Too late, of course. I don't doubt that the issue could have been corrected. For me is a matter of principle. Remember this about Sam's Club's associates: they will first tell the Members that THEY did something wrong before the associates acknowledge any wrong doing. If you keep that in mind, you may want to beat them to the punch by interrupting them mid-sentence as you return an item or present a complaint.

Super fast eye exam i was there about 20 minutes in and out with my prescription. Unexpectedly pleased with my experience. Would definitely recommend

I don't recommend this place if you have a high stigmatism bought here about 3 time over the past 20yrs and always got bad service from an older woman that I assumed was the manager there I don't know how it is now but why take your chances and end up just wasting your time
