Stanton Optical

First and last time I visit this Stanton Optical location. I provide a star for the friendly staff because everyone was very nice. However, if you visit this location on a Saturday - be prepared to be there all day. I have worked in customer service all my life, and I am not sure if it's an El Paso attitude or simply a management issue, but there was no sense of urgency for customers time. It was an attitude of "it's busy, it's a Saturday, so you'll have to wait." I understand when businesses are busy - but this staff had no interest in speeding up their pace to help clients faster. It is an art - to provide exceptional customer service AND be speedy in the process - so it is "do-able" and people can be trained to do this. But walking slowly, spending 2 hours talking to others as if you were the only ones in the store, gossiping with other staff members is not what should be happening for a business with such heavy marketing and such a BIG chain of stores. Staff may need re-training or new management but the "oh well, it's busy" attitude is not feasible for single moms who only have Saturdays to run errands... like me! I allotted 3 hours for my visit and that was not enough, so if you have ALL DAY to be at an eye appointment - then by all means visit this location. But if you have other errands to run and need to be in and out in a reasonable amount of time, go somewhere else.

Ask for Chris! He is the best here, so kind, genuine, listened to my concerns about contacts and the issues I was having and was so helpful!!!! He had the best customer service I have ever experienced. Also free eye exam, great prices, great rebates, never a wait and great location. I would recommend Stanton Optical to anyone!

Went in there on Sunday 3-1-2026 and only seen 2 associates working with no other help. A tone of people in there waiting for their appointment in the back including me. A bunch of families in the front waiting to get helped. I'm pretty sure they were passed the capacity of the store. Could have called the fire department for safety reason. Any way. This company just likes to over book and doesn't take into consideration the amount of staff they have. Very bad management. I used to be a distract manager and this wouldn't fly in my department. It's almost embarrassing. The two associates looked extremely exhausted trying to get to everyone I give them that. Need to contact corporate to make a complaint about this better yet the better business bureau. Won't be coming back to this location.

I just purchased Glasses at Stanton Optical! My experience has been FANTASTIC! Manager Joanna is very attentive to customer service, Chris helped me with my order, he is super knowledgeable and exceeds in customer service skills, Madeline is also amazing in customer service! Thank you so much Stanton optical great experience, I will recommend you to my family and friends! Amazing Service!!!

I had an amazing experience! If you are looking for a fast and income friendly place to get new glasses I totally recommend this place! I had broken my glasses that I had used for about 5 years. I tried using super glue to fix them but ended up getting glue on the lens , and upon trying to clean them, I made the lens gray. Last minute, I had to find a place that would take walk ins or appointments. Lucky for me, this place does both! I set up an appointment the night before, arrived, and was helped in about a 15 minute wait. The staff were very friendly and helpful! They even joked around a bit about my Frankenstein glasses with me, which gave me a good laugh. Later on, after the examination, I picked out some glasses. Unfortunately, I picked out a pair that was too expensive for my budget. However, one of the managers, Chris, helped me find a reliable way to get around the financial issue. And I was able to get the pair I wanted plus a pair of trial contacts for an affordable price! Finally, I walked out wearing a trial pair of contacts to retire my half beaten glasses, and the next morning got my new ones. Definitely a great experience for my first time ever buying glasses as a young adult! :)

The wait times are unacceptable. We arrived early for our appointment, weren't called back until 30 minutes past our time, and have now been sitting for over 2 hours. Looking around the waiting room, it's clear other patients are facing the same delays. If you have a busy schedule or things you like to get done, this is not the place for you. They do have an impressive selection of eyeglass frames (which we've had plenty of time to browse!)

I had a very disappointing experience at this office. I waited over an hour to receive a refund. The employee named Belinda refused to assist me. Instead of helping, she appeared to avoid the situation by pretending to do other tasks. During this time she made rude comments, rolled her eyes, and even began raising her voice at another employee, Chris, insisting that I had not been waiting that long. The situation was very unprofessional and uncomfortable. I hope management addresses how customers are treated because no one should have to wait that long while being dismissed like that. Chris was very helpful and apologized for her rude behavior. To make matters worse, even as I was leaving the office, Belinda continued giving me dirty looks, which only added to the uncomfortable and unprofessional experience.

It's been about 3-4 years since my first time getting my glasses at Stanton, but this location in particular has been amazing to me. This year, I didn't just get 2 new pairs of glasses for a crazy deal, but a pair of sunglasses with my prescription for not more than $140. The crew in this location is just great, from the ophthalmologists and managers, to the assistants, they are just so kind and friendly, helpful and they guide you and help you with everything they can. I will definitely keep coming by every year and I highly recommend everyone to at least check them out.
