Did i wait a long time? Yes. However it is not their fault that they are packed during this time of year. They work hard and go above and beyond. I had an amazing experience and i was fully prepared for the time wait. I am very happy with my experience. They did their best to hurry and help everyone out. Somethings are out of their control.
Roxanne was absolutely amazing! She was professional, friendly, and incredibly efficient. I couldn't believe how quickly she got everything done. I had my new prescription glasses ready in under 30 minutes. She explained the process clearly, made sure my prescription was perfect, and made the whole experience smooth and stress free. Outstanding service from start to finish. Roxanne definitely deserves recognition. Highly recommend!
One of the worst experiences I've ever had! The customer service was terrible -- I waited over 15 minutes just to get help with a simple return. The quality of the glasses is extremely poor; they look like they were 3D printed. I would strongly advise anyone to avoid this place!

Came in on a Saturday when they opened without an appointment. They got me in before the Saturday rush, very kind staff. Very informative. The lady who worked with me to buy my frames and lenses was also patient and informative. She gave me an excellent discount on frames.
Don't waste your time setting appointments. You'll still have to wait 45 minutes after your SCHEDULED appointment. And if that weren't enough. The sour attitude and atmosphere of the people who work there is almost enough to make you want to walk right back out. Eye Mart Express took me as a walk in right after I left this place. I wasted time here. Such a shame after the first initial experience with my son back in September. We had a pleasant experience and thought I could come back. Boy was I wrong. And by the looks of other reviews. Mine wasn't the only bad experience.
Year after year I keep coming back to this location because the staff consistently show real kindness and genuine professionalism.
They actually care about their customers. They take their time with every single person, no matter who they are or what they look like, and that is something you almost never see in this city. That alone makes them stand out, and it is the reason they deserve a full 5 out of 5 stars.
Every time I walk through the door I am treated with respect and dignity. I feel like a fellow human being here, not just another appointment on the schedule. Stanton Optical has earned my loyalty.

I visited Stanton Optics in El Paso about two months ago, right before Thanksgiving, for an eye exam, and unfortunately my experience was very disappointing.
From the moment I arrived, the staff was not attentive. The woman at the front desk was unhelpful and made me feel like an inconvenience rather than a customer. My eye exam was done via telehealth, which in itself was fine, but there were technical issues and I was left waiting for a long time before anyone came to assist me. After the exam was completed, another doctor appeared on the screen not realizing I had already been seen. I then sat alone in the exam room for about 30 minutes before someone finally came to release me.
When I asked about frame pricing, I was given incorrect information. I was also not informed about the TRICARE discount until much later. The only positive part of my visit was a gentleman (I believe of Arabic descent -- unfortunately I don't recall his name) who was extremely kind, professional, and patient. He explained the different packages clearly and truly tried to help. He deserves recognition for his customer service.
I ended up purchasing a yearly supply of contact lenses and was told I would receive an email or phone call when they were ready. We confirmed they had the correct email address on file. Two months later, I never received any communication. When I finally called last month, the response I received was simply, "Yeah, they're here," with no apology or acknowledgment of the delay.
Overall, the atmosphere felt disorganized and unwelcoming. I did not feel like a valued customer at any point during this experience, especially due to the lack of professionalism and communication. This was very disappointing and felt like poor business practice.
