Parkwood Vision Center

I was referred here to get glasses not too long ago. While I live more than ten miles away to the south, it was worth the trip. From checking in with the receptionist to the eye examination to trying on my new spectacles, everything about Parkwood was truly excellent. Dr. Tyler Kvinta was very kind and honest. He gave me a thorough assessment of my vision, which is now mono after I went completely blind in my left eye a few years ago. My next appointment here is in a year, and I really hope I get Dr. Kvinta (pronounced "Kin-ta" like Quinta in La Quinta) again. Debbie in the glasses shop exuded warmth. It was like I was talking to a good friend about what glasses I should wear. She made my new pair feel as comfortable as possible. I want to conclude with another positive: they have a Keurig if you're looking to fulfill your coffee or tea fix.

I have been with Parkwood Vision Center for at least ten years or more. I have never had a problem but I went to an eye exam on 11/22/24. I then went a few days later to Walmart to pick out frames and I found three that I purchased a total of $545.40. I then ordered contacts from Sam's Club on 11/26/24 and Parkwood Vision sent over the old px that was wrong to both Walmart and Sam's Club. I spent $207.76 and wore the wrong lenses for 3months. I had a lot of discomfort so i made a medical eye appointment to see what was wrong. I then ordered again March/8/25 and 7/4/25 they were correct. I then ordered another contact px 9/30/25 it was wrong. So I basically i am out $545.40 for glasses that were wrong from the day i got them and two three month supplies of contacts for $451.52. Grand total of $996.92. Not to mention the headaches, pain and discomfort from trying to see clearly all year with the wrong px. I called to see if we can resolve the situation but Parkwood Vision will not refund any of the amount and refused to apologize for the mistake on their part. I do not Recommend

Parkwood is now my family's go to for anything vision care. Dr. Kvinta was so nice and answered all my questions. And Mario helped me find the perfect glasses for my face shape. I will be telling everyone about this place!

First impressions make a difference and this office truly stood out. They ensured my comfort and understanding of every detail when it came to my eye health. I appreciate Dr. Tyler and the nurses and staff. I even have a great pair of glasses from the visit. I was not only informed of the items for my purchase, but educated on the necessity and comfort that it would bring. I've been wearing glasses and contact lenses for several decades and this doctor's office surpassed my expectations. God bless you all

Dr. Tyler Kvinta is very competent and has excellent people skills. He recommended me to a surgeon for cataract/extended vision lens implant. I'm pleased with the miracle of corrected vision.

Went for the first time with eye pain and they took me right in helping me with great service. Eye Dr. was the most gentle and thorough with instructions for remedy. I will be back!

This is the best eye center that I have been to. The doctor is attentive, kind, patient and answers any questions you may have with honesty and thoughtfulness. The staff is amazing. They are extremely helpful, kind, and patient. It's just a wonderful eye center who!!
