I love my glasses! I can see better than I have seen in years. Dr. Xu spent time and care to get just the right prescription and fit. She really cares about the patient and did a great job for me!

I visited Bright Vision around 1 month ago. Dr. Xu is very personal and professional. She is very patient for explaining. The glasses quality is so high. It is a great deal if you consider the quality she provides. Besides she also accepted insurance and my HSA account payments. Overall it is a pleasure experience for my visit.

I always look forward to appointments at Bright Vision. It is a very friendly and positive attitude environment. The doctor knows what she is doing and takes the time to explain test results and the general health of your eyes and the equipment is state of the art. And they always take time to explain and answer your questions honestly. Also, they do not keep you waiting and accept most insurance plans. I recommend them without hesitation and would not go anywhere else.

This was our first experience with Bright Vision Eyecare for our son in need of a routine eye exam and new contacts wear. The doctor was wonderful! Very kind and welcoming, helpful and timely. Disappointing Experience at Bright Vision Family Eyecare I visited Bright Vision Family Eyecare in Frisco, Texas, on 12/02/2024, for an annual eye exam, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing and frustrating. Hidden Charges for Photo Screening I specifically went in for a routine eye exam and prescription, which my insurance fully covers with a $0 copay. Before the exam, I asked Dr. Wendy Xu to confirm if my insurance covered the test, and she assured me it did. However, after the exam, I was surprised to find a $39 charge for a photo screening that wasn't clearly communicated in advance. I felt misled. The doctor should have explicitly mentioned the additional charge before performing the test instead of springing it on me afterward. Unexpected Consultation Fee for Contact Lenses During the exam, I told Dr. Xu that I preferred glasses and didn't use contacts. She encouraged me to try contacts, saying, "You have very good coverage for contacts; why not give them a try? It won't cost you anything to try." Based on her assurance, I agreed. However, I was again surprised to see a $55 consultation fee added to my bill. When I questioned this, she clarified that trying contacts was free, but the consultation for fitting them wasn't. This critical detail was not communicated beforehand, leaving me feeling deceived. This experience left me feeling frustrated, undervalued as a customer, and cheated. Clear and honest communication about charges upfront would have prevented this situation. I hope the management addresses these issues and ensures better transparency moving forward. I also want to warn other customers to ask for a breakdown of charges before agreeing to any additional tests or consultations to avoid surprises.

Another great visit with Dr. Xu. I have been going to Bright Vision for years. This year our insurance has changed for much better coverage. Dr. Xu explained the benefits in detail and I am excited to be able to get both contacts and part of the glasses covered which is very helpful. Thank you!
