This is not towards Dr. Young she is a fantastic doctor. My kids will NOT continue be patients of Clarkson Eyecare. We have been patients of theirs when they were Frisco eye Associates. Their current staff is the worst. We've had assistants close doors to rooms with only them and my child. I've had to be vocal about my children not being in a closed room with a single adult. They look at me like I'm the only person who's said anything about it. My kids when in for a contact fitting to find out that we couldn't leave with the contacts until they could take them in and out that day. After only showing them for 15 minutes in the dirtiest office. I was told that we had to schedule additional appointments only when that specific person was available. Ended up escalating because these are aggressive expectations that we weren't told about before hand for something I paid a lot of money for. In doing research they do not allow enough time for kids to learn how to handle contacts. Their office staff doesn't stay the same, we come every 6 month and see completely different people. It's like their cleaning staff gave up. Initially it was fighting against their forced protection plan or grabbing frames from the display shelf because they ordered the wrong color. The billing is the worst. I got a bill, noticed that they didn't file insurance for one of my kids, they didn't have it on file for that one kid... It's really gone down hill, it feels like it's all about the money at this point. We pay too much to receive terrible service. No one should have to be at an eye doctors office for over 1.5hrs every visit.
Be ready to be upsold and nickled and dimed! You will ALWAYS get an additional bill. I decided not to go last year bc there is always an additional invoice after the $10 co-pay.
My son has contacts. Was told that we can do regular contacts but he must have eyes drops to help slow his eyes from getting worse. Was told that "MiSight" for over $1,200 a year was better option bc of an additional visit and the formula in the contact solution will help slow the vision issue... it works better so no need for drops. Who doesn't want their child to see?
I go the following year and I'm told that there is nothing special with the formula the lenses does all the work.... Why am I paying for $1,200?
Take my younger son, Doc tries to sell us the MiSight for my younger son, we reminded her that our 1st son was already on it. Doc says, "Oh he doesn't need it quite yet then". Was about to upsell us again.
Just be mindful and get second opinions.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Sheetal Bhaga and her entire team. From the moment I walked in, I felt cared for, heard, and truly looked after. Dr. Bhaga is an exceptional physician--her professionalism, expertise, and genuine compassion immediately put me at ease.
She took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all my questions, and made sure I fully understood my treatment options. The level of detail and care she provided for my vision was outstanding. It's rare to find a doctor who combines this level of skill with such kindness and patience.
Her staff is equally incredible--warm, organized, and always willing to help. They made the entire experience smooth, comfortable, and stress-free.
Thanks to Dr. Bhaga, my vision is better than it has been in years. I'm truly grateful for her dedication and the excellent care I received. I highly recommend her and her team to anyone looking for world-class eye care.
The worst eye care and their billing team I have ever seen in my life. I am frustrated. I have cancelled my kids glasses around 8-9 months ago and I didn't receive any refund yet. I am fighting to receive my money back and it never happened. Terrible experience. It's just the blame game going on and no progress shown till now. Beware guys you will never receive your money back if you cancel anything here. If given a chance, I would rate 0.
Great place if you want to feel like a number and be served by people who have no ability to solve problems and no problem charging you for their mistakes. Family of four having gone there for 5 years are now gladly taking our business elsewhere and I might add much closer to home. No sense going out of our way to go there when they won't put in minimal effort to address an issue they created. Oh, and blaming your computers is also not a good look. Before giving them your business, try calling to speak to someone, see how their response (rings and hangs up on you) is and thank yourself.
My family and I have seen Dr. Bhaga for nearly a decade. She has seen my children into adulthood. She is amazing! Always pays attention to detail and I've never felt rushed!
Terrible experience!!!! I have been a patient of Clarkson for many, many years. The past year I have experienced more issues, and specifically for both of my children's needs, than I have before. Trying to use them for vision therapy scheduling was a night mare in May. However, for my daughter's appointment today we were re-scheduled 3 times...and not because we asked to be. The latest change was I received a text a day ago stating they had erroneously scheduled me at 8:20 and needed to do 8:40. We arrived at 8:36 and had to wait almost 10 minutes to check in because there was only 1 person at the desk and she was on the phone. We then waited and were called back around 9. The tech who did my 4 year olds eye exam seemed almost uncertain on how to do a child's eye exam. Example: flustered that she wouldn't sit still for the octomapping, annoyed that she didn't understand how to read the letters or symbols. We did not see the doctor until 9:30 at which time I became antsy as I had a meeting for work coming up within an hour. At 9:50 the scribe comes in to help the doctor scribe the visit and I had to cut it off and ask to leave. When I got to the front desk to pay, there was a man who assisted in checking us out but I needed the speed to pick up as I needed to get my daughter to daycare and make it back home for my meeting. A woman comes up to help him check out and then starts hand cutting our appointment reminder for her next appointment while I had to wait for her to finish cutting. I left at 10....1.5 hours after arriving. Not a sustainable model for working parents to bring kids in. The quality of service has really gone down.
This location, specifically. Very mismanaged, unresponsive, their Saturday open times are not accurate and they don't answer their phones.
I've placed a contact order THREE times. The first one, they sent to an old address, 3 years out dated and they didn't even confirm with me they were going to mail them.
Second order, I went in after calling multiple times. I walk in and there are NO customers. The workers are just sitting around, truly not answering the phones...just on their own personal cell phones what?!? I ask for my order...nope. Nothing. Not there. What!?!
So, I placed a THIRD order, was told they would email me once it was confirmed. Do you think I got an email? Nope. Have I called, yep. I've spent over $200 on contacts back in August and I have yet to receive them. 12/30/25
