Eye Source - Carey Brooks, OD

Dr. Brooks has been my eye doctor for many years and has been amazing every minute of it! She is the one who figured out my contact allergy and helped me get the right allergy prescriptions to safely use contacts when I was still getting used to glasses when I was younger. The glasses prescriptions I get from her are always super accurate and overall I really enjoy my annual office visits with her

My wife and I came in today for eye exams and had a fantastic experience! Dr. Brooks and her husband, who runs the front desk, were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Dr. Brooks was very thorough with our exams and patiently answered all of our questions. We felt well taken care of and would highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for an excellent OD!

Finding an eye doctor who's great with kids and adults feels like a unicorn situation -- but Dr. Carey Brooks at Eye Source Frisco is the real deal. She's patient, kind, and genuinely great with kids (including special needs). No rushing, no weird pressure--just solid, thoughtful care. (Also, I didn't even know computer progressive glasses were a thing, and they are amazing!) Whole-family friendly, takes insurance and cash pay, and as a mom herself, she clearly gets it. Highly recommend.

We LOVE Dr. Brooks, personalized service and amazing care. She knew exactly what our little guy needed and made all of the measurements for glasses fun! She let him run around and in between his lap around the office she measured everything twice to get it perfect! Thank you Dr. Brooks!

Dr. Carey Brooks is truly one of a kind. She's not only incredibly kind and caring, but she also really listens to her patients. You never feel rushed, and she makes sure to address all your concerns with so much thought and care. What I love most is how she goes above and beyond to make you feel completely looked after during your visit. It's rare to find someone so dedicated to both her patients and her work. I'm so grateful for the wonderful care I've received from Dr. Brooks!

Our family has been patients at Eye Source ever since our last eye doctor left her practice and the office just wasnt the same. We do not live in Frisco or Plano, so coming to see Dr. Brooks is a bit of a drive. But it is WELL WORTH IT!!!!! A professional and caring practice for sure! Dr. Brooks even had recommendations for a "specialist" for my particular eye care needs. And they have worked out wonderfully. Last night, our new puppy decided to enjoy a snack on my glasses. Went back to Eye Source and the frames are two years old. Dr. Brooks worked with me to help find a replacement set as the lenses were not damages, just the frames. WHO DOES THAT??? Prescription glasses are not cheap. And yes, styles and stock changes from time to time. But I don't think you will find a more caring practice -willing to go above and beyond to keep you and your family seeing healthy and clearly. Just clarification: This is a non-compensated review and personal insight to our time trusting Eye Source with our family eye care. 5 STARS: Skill. Patient care. Compassion. and now Customer service for something that wasnt even their fault. So I may blame the puppy, but we go.and will always go to Eye Source and Dr. Brooks.

Dr. Brooks is absolutely kinnd, professional, caring, and works with you and guide you in the right direction. I can't tell y'all that she tells you she's going to do something and the very next day and I mean the very next day she set me up an appointment with cornea Dr. to me that's someone that cares. If you need an eye doctor I highly recommend Dr. Brooks at eye source. Dr. Brooks thank you and we'll see you soon. UPDATE: went back to Dr Brooks and she is the real mccoy! Her professional, her kindness, her knowledge, her way she welcomes you makes you feel a home with family. If you need eye needs I really suggest to go to her. Hubby Craig will welcome you and welcomes you too. I love this place and these beautiful people are awesome. Mum and I got glasses today and we're so excited to get them and they were very affordable.

Dr. Brooks provides excellent care--thorough, professional, and attentive. However, the experience is diminished by the inconsistent demeanor of the male front desk staff member. His unpredictable attitude creates an unwelcoming environment, which detracts from an otherwise high-quality practice.
