Frisco Family Vision

Went here a few times for checkups and just not happy with the experience. Long wait times when the lobby isn't full, provided with scary information about my eyes and went to another doctor and specialist afterwards for second opinions and was informed nothing was wrong or concerning. Paid $800 after insurance for glasses that I only used a few times as they didn't help me. I have a new provider elsewhere for my vision needs that is taking much better care of me.

I had a wonderful experience at Frisco Family Vision. The staff was welcoming, professional, and very attentive from the moment I walked in. The doctor took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure all my questions were answered. The office is clean, modern, and well-organized. I highly recommend Frisco Family Vision for anyone looking for quality eye care.

I appreciate supporting local businesses and the folks have treated me very well over the last couple years. Very friendly and very patient with me in all matters from understanding my prescription to insurance coverages... definitely recommend these doctors and their staff ..

The optometrist and person that assisted me during the pre-tests for glasses and contacts were amazing. My issue is with every other event that has occurred since. Firstly, the young woman, i didn't catch her name but she has multiple fine line/small tattoos on her arms, was smacking her gum and had an airpod in her ear the whole time she was helping me. Now, if it was in the ear I couldn't see, whatever, but having it visible is unprofessional especially when you're making me repeat myself over and over. Additionally, she said my glasses would be ready in one week, for pickup - it's had been 2. She said one week for my contacts to be shipped, again, it's been two. When i called for an update I had to leave a voicemail, heard back and the girl sounded annoyed that she had to update me, and said "by the end of next week", again.. we were at the end of week two and I heard nothing. I finally called again Oct 6th (end of week 3 mind you) and the lady said "Oh yeah, your glasses are here" as if they had been there for a while. Only then, did i receive an email and text saying they had arrived. Then, i asked about the contacts i've been waiting 3 weeks for just to be told I never ordered any?? This was thoroughly shocking because I went back and forth with the girl that checked me out, the one with the airpods, about ordering them and vividly remember settling on a 3 month supply. I understand this is partially my fault for not checking my receipt, but she even changed/updated my address and told me they would arrive in 1 week and re-confirmed my shipping address. So, to hear that I didn't actually order any after having to repeat my address/phone number for her numerous times, and pay an arm and a leg, was aggravating to say the least. I'm disappointed in this visit, outside of the optometrist and optometric tech. I recommend going somewhere else.

Extremely disappointing experience. I would not recommend this place to anyone who genuinely wants to get their vision corrected. There is no respect for customers here. When I went to pick up my glasses, the staff member who assisted me was very rude and dismissive. I was charged $627 (after insurance) for a pair of glasses that actually made my vision worse than before. When I tried to explain the issue, the lady who handed me the glasses brushed me off and went on a defensive rant, insisting "that's how they're supposed to work." Really? People go to eye doctors and spend hundreds of dollars to see worse? Save yourself the frustration, money, and headache -- look elsewhere for your eye care.

I spoke with Brittany about canceling my daughter glasses ordered 2 days ago. She informed me that refunds are only available within 30 minutes of placing the order -- a policy that was never communicated to me at the time of ordering or purchase. I also called yesterday (9/18/2025) and left a voicemail, and was told I would receive a call back, but no one followed up. Instead, I only received a voicemail this morning (9/19/2025). This lack of communication and refusal to take responsibility is very unprofessional and leaves patients and their families feeling misled and unsupported and scammed. Clear and timely communication should be a priority, and unfortunately that did not happen here. I will never return with my daughter or my family, and I will not refer anyone here. Period.

Very good place for exam and glasses. Very knowledgeable and all the update eye machines. Highly recommend this place !!

I've been going to Frisco Family Vision since I moved here 6 years ago. The staff is so friendly, and I LOVE Dr. Paulsen. She's so knowlegable. And when I've needed to be referred to a specialist (both retina and cataract) they sent me to great doctors as well.
