From the moment we walked in, this office was truly exceptional. They were incredibly intentional with every step--taking time to explain procedures in a way that felt reassuring, never rushed, and always thoughtful. What stood out most was how naturally comforting Rachael and Dr. Berry were, especially with children. Their calm presence, patience, and genuine kindness immediately put my child at ease, turning what could have been a stressful appointment into a very positive experience. They connected with my child on their level, explained things in a gentle and engaging way, and made sure we both felt heard and cared for. It's rare to find a specialist who combines such clinical excellence with warmth and compassion. We left feeling confident, supported, and grateful. I cannot recommend this provider highly enough--especially for families with children.

We've had a great experience with Dr. Berry during our kids appointment. She was very friendly, took her time with each exam, and made our kids feel comfortable. She patiently answered all our questions and explained everything clearly. Her sense of humor really helped put our kids at ease. The office staff was equally wonderful; welcoming, helpful, and well organized, making the entire visit smooth and stress-free. I would highly recommended Dr. Berry for quality eye care for the whole family.

Most amazing experience! Dr. Berry is an angel passionate about her field of work and her staff was very kind. No wait time. Every step was explained. She literally saved my quality of life and I'm so grateful for her. She explained everything and was knowledgeable of what I was experiencing. We love Dr Berry! We started going to her for our son who was diagnosed with esotropia in his left eye when he was two. Now our whole family goes to her for our eye health checkups.She's amazing with both kids and adults. This family highly recommends her!

We had a great experience! Dr. Berry was wonderful with my wiggly 4-year-old. She had great techniques to keep my daughter engaged and to refocus her when she got distracted. It was a very positive experience for my daughter, and I know she will be happy to return for our follow ups!

Dr. Berry and Vision Therapist Ryan have truly changed our son's life. Seeing him go from struggling to read below grade level to loving reading -- and making such remarkable progress within just 6 short weeks -- has been one of the most emotional and rewarding experiences for our family. Now that he has officially graduated from vision therapy, we are eagerly looking forward to his next school benchmark report. When we first received his dyslexia diagnosis almost two years ago, it was difficult to accept. Since then, we have tried everything: tutors, specialized programs, extra support during school and summer sessions. Nothing seemed to move the needle... until we met Dr. Berry and her incredible team. The technology they used to diagnose our son's vision-tracking issue was fascinating and eye-opening. This is something that would never have been identified during a standard optometrist visit, and we fully believe that without Dr. Berry and Ryan, our son would still be facing the same daily challenges -- academically, athletically, and emotionally. Ryan has been a truly exceptional Vision Therapist. He is patient, kind, and genuinely connected with our son. He took the time to learn what excites and motivates him and built vision exercises around those interests, which kept him engaged and excited each week. We are beyond grateful to Dr. Berry, Ryan, and the entire team for what they've done for our child and our family. Seeing our son happy, confident, and thriving has been an incredible gift -- one we will never forget. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts.

EDIT: I do not know how to reply to Dr. Barry's reply so I am editing my review. I will say she did call me, and we had a conversation about my experience and she did answer some questions I had yesterday, so I did appreciate the questions answered. However, my experience at the office is STILL valid and I still STAND by how I felt and was treated. The way Dr. Barry came into the conversation on the phone initially was not apologetic at all. She definitely dismissed my experience but then said she didn't mean to. Replying that you take pride in treating everyone equally but to dismiss my experience does not add up, whether your office intended to or not. I also said it was your staff that I felt the disrespect and mistreatment from, not you specifically. You still defended your staff basically the entire conversation, and while you attempted to repair, it's a little too little, too late. Thank you for our records, but we will not be back. I would encourage you and your staff to look into microaggressions and truly take this as a learning experience. Y'all never had to experience anything a person of color had to experience. We are both equally American but will never be treated the same and this is 2025 in Frisco where it is a melting pot of diversity. ------ I am shocked by all these 5 star reviews. I went in with my son with high hopes but had the worst experience I've had in a long time. The front office was rude from the get go. Amber was on the phone and did not even acknowledge us. Theresa was with someone else and then came straight to me to ask for insurance and ID with an attitude?! We just sat there for a bit before asking when we would be seen or just a conversation that the appt is running late. The lady who did the Right Eye was nice, so I will acknowledge that. My experience with Dr. Barry was mediocre at best. She was not sweet at all to us. Maybe the office is used to all white patients and does not know how to treat people of color. I felt rushed out of there and after $330, I expected a better experience.

LOVE Dr. Berry!! She's always so attentive and listens to all my questions and concerns. She truly cares for all of her patients! So glad I found her. All the ladies in the office are great too!
