Bluebonnet Vision Associates

Bluebonnet Vision is truly a special place. Dr. Tamatha Tomeff is kind, compassionate and truly cares about her patients as you will see in my story. Having moved from Houston to Georgetown, I had to find a new eye doctor and I am so glad that Google reviews pointed me to Bluebonnet. Online appointment scheduling was easy and I loved the text reminders for my appointment. Their office is clean, new and lovely, and the staff there made you feel at home. Truly a family-run practice. The appointment started right on time and Tamatha was amazing. I can be a pain because I am very particular, but Tamatha was very kind and patient with me and she zeroed in on my new prescription with 100% perfection. The only mistake I made was leaving and taking my prescription to one of those big chains to have my glasses made. This is where Bluebonnet really started to shine. The "big chain's" first attempt to make my glasses failed and I knew something was very wrong with my new glasses. Tamatha allowed me to schedule a follow up appointment at NO CHARGE, checked the glasses and went through the entire exam a second time to make sure she had the the prescription right (which she had gotten right the first time). She then wrote another prescription with instructions to the "big chain" to make an adjustment to their measurements for me. I picked up the second pair this Saturday and they were worse than the first! I called Bluebonnet at noon on Saturday while driving home from the "big chain" and they told me to swing by and they would fit me in. The Bluebonnet team saw me right away (at NO CHARGE), analyzed my glasses and found a major mistake with how they were made (after the "big chain" had just told me they were perfect). Bluebonnet spent 20 minutes analyzing my glasses and even Tamatha stepped in to confirm the finding. Back to the "big chain" where I took Bluebonnet's notes and they finally confessed they had made them wrong. Next time I'll get my glasses made at Bluebonnet! I am now a Bluebonnet patient for life and if I had to move back to Houston (God forbid!) I would drive to Georgetown for my next eye appointment with Tamatha and her AMAZING Bluebonnet team.

I have nothing bad to say about the Optometrist she was great and took her time to get my prescription perfect. It was the lady who is supposed to assist you with picking your frames. I patiently waited at the table near the frames for acknowledgment from her for about 45 minutes. I was on an extended lunch break and ended up having to ask the lady at the front desk for assistance. I get it that she had another customer, but she completely ignored me. Then, when I came to pick up my glasses they needed adjusting. The front desk lady took them back to her for adjusting and brought them back out to me. They needed tweaking again, the front desk lady took them to her and she adjusted them right out in front of the main desk area. Mind you again she was with another guest and did not acknowledge me this visit either. At this point I didn't want to ask for another adjustment I just left and will take my glasses elsewhere for final adjusting. I'm not sure if she cannot multitask or what the issue is, but maybe schedule time slots for customers to come and pick up their glasses. As well as even after their Doctors visit schedule a slotted time for glasses pick out, so that others do not feel like I did. I drove well out of my neighborhood to give my business to Bluebonnet and unfortunately felt very unwelcomed after my visit with the Doctor.

I just recently had an appointment at blue bonnet, and although I have been a patient for quite some time I feel compelled to leave a review on this occasion simply because I have been impressed every time I come in. The staff are extremely kind, always greeting me with a smile and remembering my name even if it's been a year since my last checkup and I feel like they get you in and out very quickly especially if you mention you're on a time crunch. The doctor is great, she is very personable and is very thorough when explaining something often breaking it down so that I'm able to understand it and it's not just doctor jargon. Lastly when I purchased glasses the business manager was very punctual about making sure I got exactly which glasses I wanted and exactly what I wanted on them, she took her time in breaking down the cost and was extremely friendly. Thanks blue bonnet my family will continue to come get checked here!

Bluebonnet Vision Associates was amazing, the apt. Was short notice, the staff treated me like a person. It is Family ran. I felt at home with the staff. Very professional yet very friendly. I am recommending them to my family and friends.

This optometrist is the best! They take time to get to know you and are very friendly. The doctor explained my condition in terms I understood and helped me know why my vision is blurry. They have a great selection of frames too. I highly recommend them.
